Kids tend to make toys out of the most amazing and unconventional items. One man's trash, is another kid's toy, so don't be so quick to throw out your empty boxes and containers these days. Box Play For Kids created a line of 100 percent recycled stickers ($4-$12) to fit over milk cartons, toilet paper rolls, and egg cartons, so lil ones can bring new life to what otherwise would be thrown away. Make bracelets or army binoculars out of toilet paper rolls. An old box can turn into a sushi bento box or a turntable. Like Rolobox — the wheels that convert empty cardboard boxes into vehicles — through an afternoon of play, these stickers subtly teach tots that recycling can mean more than placing garbage in a blue bin in the garage.

Etsy Finds: Marvelous Matchbooks and Matchboxes
I don't smoke, but I do have a bit of a candle obsession. While I can't stop purchasing votives for the life of me, I also cannot seem to find my darn matchbooks and matchboxes when I need them. Meanwhile, my friends who smoke are endlessly hunting for their lighters. That said, matchbooks make an ideal stocking stuffer for anyone you know! So I thought I'd round up a few of my favorite handmade ones in the latest edition of Etsy Finds. Come along and take a look at these lights!
Casa Gift Guide: 15 Stocking Stuffers Under $15
I like to slip something a little spendy into every stocking I fill. But aside from that special $60 trinket, I try to keep all my stocking stuffers under $15. Aside from the requisite Chapstick and pair of socks, I love to give home decor accessories, desktop essentials, and entertaining items, and I recommend you do as well! I've rounded up a few of these (15, to be exact) to help cut some of the legwork out for you.
I adore the Crate & Barrel Set of 12 Mini Multicolor Boxes ($3), which are great for storing everything from jewelry to spices to paper clips. The Nip It in the Bud Vases ($11) from Wisteria are also a hilarious way to display flowers. And I love the Mardi Gras colors and fleur-de-lys pattern of the Anthropologie Big Easy Knob ($12). Fill Holiday Stockings With Fit Gifts

Clockwise starting from the top left:
- Grease Monkey Wipes (6 for $5.99) — Wipe that grease from your bicycle chain off your calf in a jiffy with these all natural, heavy duty cleaning wipes.
- Running Mittens ($28) — Asics makes more than just great sneakers, the running giant makes great mittens to keep your hands toasty on a run. But not too toasty; the top folds back so sweaty hands can breathe if necessary.
- Hydra-Vision goggles by BlueSeventy ($22) — Lightweight, comfy goggles will make any swimmer or triathlete jump for joy this holiday season.
- Word Lock — For your forgetful friend, a lock that uses words rather than numbers to open is a great tool for the gym going set.
- Teko Boarding Socks — Help the snow boarders in your life pad their shins and keep their toes warm with Teko's merino wool socks designed to help all riders.
- Lip Balm with SPF — Winter sun, especially on the slopes, can dry and burn your lips. Keep a kisser happy with SPF 30 lip balm from Hawaiian Island Creations that moisturizes while it protects.
- Road ID — In case of an emergency, the Road ID can speak for your runner, hiker, or cyclist in case they can't.
- Hammer Gel — Perfectly sized for stuffing into your endurance athlete's stocking, Hammer Gels come in a wide variety of flavors, taste good, and seem a bit more natural than other gels out there.
- Ibex Indie Arm Warmers — Running in transitional weather is much easier with a pair of wicking merino wool arm warmers. We especially like the thumbholes!
- Luna Bars — Skip the candy canes and replace them with festively flavored energy bars. The chocolate peppermint flavor of Luna Bar just screams holiday season.
