Jimmy Fallon may get in on the Glee and Britney Spears fun on his own show, while Brad from The Rachel Zoe Project and some of The Office stars tell us about losing cast members.
>> A number of rumors have plagued Rachel Zoe since her former first assistant and co-star on The Rachel Zoe Project Taylor Jacobson left last November. There was talk that Zoe tried to blacklist Jacobson from working with major fashion houses on her own styling projects, and then Page Six reported that Jacobson was fired after clothes went missing from Zoe's fashion closet.
Zoe finally commented on the latter when WWD recently asked her whether the rumor was real: "That was so real that I cannot even tell you how real that actually was. It was like, I hired Brad [Goreski, Zoe's other assistant], this little angel, and then Taylor just went in for the kill. And I, like, did not see that coming. I always knew what she was capable of, but who knew that was going to happen with the camera?"
When asked if she was still in touch with Jacobson, Zoe replied: "The answer to that would be: I would love to tell you but I would have to kill you. You'll see it on season three [of The Rachel Zoe Project, premiering Aug. 3 on Bravo]." Needless to say, any strain between the two has not healed: when Jacobson's consulting job with denim line Kasil was mentioned, Zoe said, "Ugh. Oh yeah. [A line] that I've never heard of. I don't care what she does. How's that? How's that for an answer?" And in the teaser trailer for The Rachel Zoe Project, season 3, below, Goreski mentions to Zoe that he heard Jacobson was styling someone for the Golden Globes, and Zoe replies, "The last thing I want to hear is something good about Taylor."

>> Rachel Zoe and styling associate Taylor Jacobson parted ways back in November, but the situation hasn't quite been laid to rest. Fashion Week Daily writes that Zoe "began masterminding the blacklist campaign against her former assistant" after Jacobson gave notice, citing a "well-placed source" who divulged:
[Rachel] basically wasn’t happy about Taylor leaving on her own terms and felt like she should have fired Taylor herself. There were a lot of emails and calls that were placed to big houses with the intent of keeping Taylor away, which is ironic because Taylor did about 85 percent of the work in the company.
Zoe reportedly also tried to blacklist Taylor from her usual hair salon. Perhaps this is all fodder for the third season of The Rachel Zoe Project, which is supposed to cover Taylor's departure from the firm?
>> Rachel Zoe Project Coming Back for Season 3 —Kelly Cutrone's new reality project Kell on Earth — which follows her ups and downs as straight-shooting head of fashion PR company People's Revolution — premieres on Bravo Feb. 1. But she's not alone in representing fashion on the network: The Rachel Zoe Project has just been confirmed for a third season. Although air dates weren't released, the upcoming season will cover styling associate Taylor Jacobson's departure and the addition of a new team member — word is its Ashley Avignone, who appears to have started with Zoe this week. All good things must come to an end. And that includes Rachel Zoe's work relationship with her platinum-blond style associate, Taylor Jacobson. You either loved her or hated her — but you have to admit you loved her wardrobe. I couldn't shut up about her awesome jackets; Chanel, Dries van Noten, Balenciaga, sigh. You may recall I spoke with Rachel at the beginning of this last season of The Rachel Zoe Project and she shared that Taylor has a heart of gold. I'm sure Taylor's leaving Rachel Zoe was melancholy for all parties involved — the two have worked together since January 2005. I know I will miss drooling over her jackets and watching her and Brad's banter.
We caught up with Taylor this week, and though she didn't divulge details about her departure, she has a positive outlook on life — something we seldom see from the show's supposed villain. And, can I just add, Taylor gives Fab favorite Diane Kruger props for having stellar style — great minds . . . Listen up.
What should we expect to see from you in the next year?
I look forward to exploring styling on my own and the new opportunities and experiences it is going to bring.
Who are your go-to designers right now?
Chris Benz, Alexander Wang, and Prabal Gurung.
Whose style do you admire?
I think Diane Kruger has great style and even more impressive is that she does it herself.

>> Taylor Jacobson, one of Rachel Zoe's co-stars on The Rachel Zoe Project (and real-life employees), has been itching to go out on her own for both seasons of the show now, and it sounds like she finally did. DKNY's PR just Tweeted at Taylor: "OMGGGG @TaylorJacobsonn I just got your email.. BEST of luck!!! Cannot believe you are leaving but I know you will rock on your own too!"
Fashionista got ahold of the email Taylor sent out to contacts:
After four amazing years at Rachel Zoe Corporation, I’m saddened and exhilarated at the same time to announce my departure. After much thought and consideration, I have decided to take the challenging leap to go off and style on my own.
And Taylor herself just Tweeted: "Today is an end of an era and a beginning of a new professional chapter. Looking forward to what the future brings...!!!"
