Come Fab Finding With Me: Pottery Class

A recent trip to a friend's house motivated me to take a pottery class.

A recent trip to a friend's house motivated me to take a pottery class. You can make some awesome things — like the beautiful vase I saw at her place — and from what she tells me, it's fairly easy. It's going to be a messy fun time, so I need you to help me figure out a 'fit.

I'll start you off with this J.Crew Morning Glory Art Tee ($42). I'm hoping the artsy vibes will spread into my fingers.

Let's go Fab Finding. Be sure to come back and tell me your Fab Finds are up, or just tag your Fab Finds with Pottery Class. Now, you can build outfits by creating your very own widget of clothing items. We have everything you need to build outfits, and you can use your Fab Find bookmarks, too. This is an even better way to put together an entire outfit when completing your Fab Finding missions. Learn what a Fab Find is and how to make one. And here's a detailed explanation of bookmarks from GeekSugar.

Designer Spotlight: Supadupa Vintage

I admit, I get a little lazy when it comes to certain DIY projects.

I admit, I get a little lazy when it comes to certain DIY projects. I can handle screen-printing parties, but when it comes to shredding tees, I leave it to the pros. That's where Supadupa Vintage swoops in to the rescue. Designer Tatiana Bolanos uses vintage recycled tees (sustainable, yay!), and shreds everything by hand. It's time-consuming and well worth the one-of-a-kind wonder. In fact, Kim Kardashian was already spotted in LA showing off a cool light gray version. We like them belted, loose, or layered with colorful tanks. Grab one — prices currently range from $45 to $60 — before they hit celeb stardom.

The Look For Less: Alice + Olivia White Jewel Face Tee

Super girlie tees are all the rage, thanks to Lanvin's trés chic version.

Super girlie tees are all the rage, thanks to Lanvin's trés chic version. The more bows and frills, the better! Alice + Olivia's White Jewel Face Tee ($198) is so cute, I just want to eat it up. I can see myself wearing it with a pair of skinny black jeans and metallic ballet flats. Et voilà. My only concern is the price tag — it's so trendy, I'm afraid I won't want to wear it five years from now. And so I set out to find a cheaper version . . .

Trend Alert: Jewel Embellished Tees

Check it, the reason I'm smitten with jewel embellished tees is that they're simultaneously fancy and kick-back.

Check it, the reason I'm smitten with jewel embellished tees is that they're simultaneously fancy and kick-back. Yes, we talked about bejeweled necklines before, but putting statement baubles on comfy tees is totally fresh. The way I see it, you can spend the big bucks and buy one, or you can DIY. All you need is a simple tee, some gems from the local bead shop, and a little imagination. Done and done.

Simply Fab: Michael Jackson Tribute Tee

If you're going to pay respect to Michael Jackson, this is how you do it.

If you're going to pay respect to Michael Jackson, this is how you do it. In honor of the late and great King of Pop, Intermix and e.vil have teamed up to create a cool tee emblazoned with an image of the singer's iconic Moonwalk. I like the burnout effect and how the image is slightly faded. Pair it with black jeans, loafers, and you're set! Sadly, the exclusive tee is not available online but can be found at all Intermix locations.

Trend Alert: Scoop It Low

Sizzle. Miranda Kerr makes looking sexy so easy.

Sizzle. Miranda Kerr makes looking sexy so easy. OK, being a VS model might have something to do with it but we can't deny her styling skills. Peep the cutie running errands in LA donning a tank, Ray-Bans, and denim mini. It doesn't look like anything special at first glance but notice the new neckline. This ultra deep cut injects major flirt factor– if you got it, scoop it low girl!

Heidi Klum & Michael Kors Promote Breast Cancer Awareness

Project Runway duo Heidi Klum and Michael Kors are fashionably teaming up for Saks' Key to the Cure breast cancer campaign.

Project Runway duo Heidi Klum and Michael Kors are fashionably teaming up for Saks' Key to the Cure breast cancer campaign. The auf-wiedersehen extraordinaire will be this year's ambassador; Kors designed the cute fuchsia and white limited-edition tee. “It’s important that we all work continuously to find the cure for cancer and to find answers,” said Klum. “This year’s t-shirt is fabulous and not just because Michael, my fashion inspiration and great friend, designed it." The tee, $40, will be available at Saks Fifth Avenue stores Oct. 1 with proceeds going to charity. Awesome. If you want to do your part, shop at Saks Oct. 15-18; the retailer plans to donate 2 percent of sales to the cause.

Southern Brand Provides Slapstick Shirts For Lil Rascals

The only thing better than a naked baby is one wearing soft threads.

The only thing better than a naked baby is one wearing soft threads. Vintage style tees by Southern Brand are comfy like Daddy's old college tees that can't seem to find their way into the donation pile, but these pre-washed double-stitched tops are anything, but dowdy. And at $29 a pop, they better be!

The witty words printed on the chests are sure to draw smiles from passersby. Leaving other slogan tees in the dust, this clever line of apparel jokes, "I'm the Only Heck My Mama Ever Raised," "Baptized in Muddy Waters," and "A Lil' Bit Country." I can only imagine which country crooners have wardrobes full of these items for their twangy tiny tots.
