A recent trip to a friend's house motivated me to take a pottery class. You can make some awesome things — like the beautiful vase I saw at her place — and from what she tells me, it's fairly easy. It's going to be a messy fun time, so I need you to help me figure out a 'fit.

I'll start you off with this J.Crew Morning Glory Art Tee ($42). I'm hoping the artsy vibes will spread into my fingers.

I admit, I get a little lazy when it comes to certain DIY projects. I can handle screen-printing parties, but when it comes to shredding tees, I leave it to the pros. That's where Supadupa Vintage swoops in to the rescue. Designer Tatiana Bolanos uses vintage recycled tees (sustainable, yay!), and shreds everything by hand. It's time-consuming and well worth the one-of-a-kind wonder. In fact, Kim Kardashian was already spotted in LA showing off a cool light gray version. Super girlie tees are all the rage, thanks to Lanvin's trés chic version. The more bows and frills, the better! Alice + Olivia's White Jewel Face Tee ($198) is so cute, I just want to eat it up. I can see myself wearing it with a pair of skinny black jeans and metallic ballet flats. Et voilà. My only concern is the price tag — it's so trendy, I'm afraid I won't want to wear it five years from now. And so I set out to find a cheaper version . . .

Check it, the reason I'm smitten with jewel embellished tees is that they're simultaneously fancy and kick-back. Yes, we talked about bejeweled necklines before, but putting statement baubles on comfy tees is totally fresh. The way I see it, you can spend the big bucks and buy one, or you can DIY. All you need is a simple tee, some gems from the local bead shop, and a little imagination. Done and done.

If you're going to pay respect to Michael Jackson, this is how you do it. In honor of the late and great King of Pop, Intermix and e.vil have teamed up to create a cool tee emblazoned with an image of the singer's iconic Moonwalk. I like the burnout effect and how the image is slightly faded. Pair it with black jeans, loafers, and you're set! Sizzle. Miranda Kerr makes looking sexy so easy. OK, being a VS model might have something to do with it but we can't deny her styling skills. Peep the cutie running errands in LA donning a tank, Ray-Bans, and denim mini. It doesn't look like anything special at first glance but notice the new neckline.
