The smoky eye is a beauty mainstay for any season, but for Fall, try it with a different shade in mind: green. The Blonds Fall 2012 runway showcased this vibrant look by mixing charcoal black with deep hunter green eye shadow. And because minimal wasn't in the vocabulary for this runway palette, MAC makeup artists applied a thick liner with red lipstick for a beauty look that was truly hard to miss. Admit it: The Hills' Kristin Cavallari is a bona fide hottie. The temptress attended the Salt LA premiere in a rather ballsy spike shoulder dress by The Blonds. It may look familiar from a scene in Sex and the City 2 where Samantha wore the red version. Kristin accentuates the cool metals with silver and gray accessories, and that deep cowl neck is quite eye catching, but does Kristin have the fashion chops to pull this off?

At The Blonds' show last night, we peeped this fancy sequined zebra mani that looked like something anyone wild at heart would totally be on board with wearing. It's a fun look, and it's something your nail esthetician probably knows how to do. So what do you think? Would you get one of these at the salon or is this look best left for the runway models?
The Ecco Domani Fashion Foundation is toasting the new year with a fresh crop of winners. Prabal Gurung, Joseph Altuzarra of Altuzarra, Ross Menuez of Salvor Projects, and Phillipe Rollano and David Trujillo of The Blonds swooped up the prizes in the women's category. The men's accolade went to Siki Im, and Irini Arakas of Prova got the award for accessories. Last but not least, John Patrick of Organic won the new sustainable design category. Each winner will receive $25,000 to go toward his/her Fall collection.
The winners will show off their lusty designs in the first-ever Ecco Domani Fashion Foundation runway show — which will also feature a documentary about the foundation and the winners — at New York Fashion Week on Feb. 15. Congrats to all!
No, you're not looking at the next trend in red-carpet wear. Ouch, that would hurt. This is the ad campaign for Lionsgate's movie SAW VI and the latest SAW “Give ‘Til It Hurts” blood drive, benefiting the Red Cross. It was created by Ignition Print and shows a sexy nurse in a needle-clad corset, designed by corset kings, The Blonds. It's not practical, obviously, but it sure does pique interest. If anyone could pull it off, it would be Lady Gaga. What do you think — freaky or fabulous?
New York designers Phillipe and David Blond might not make the kind of clothing that everyone can wear, in fact, their designs are special order and one-of-a-kind, but their show is an unmissable part of New York Fashion Week nonetheless. Honestly, it's like a concert.
