I have to admit there's a lot of fashion's favorite color — black — in this week's favorites. But, to keep things lively, there's also a daring red Versace gown and a gorgeous teal draped Vionnet dress. It's a pretty well-rounded bunch, actually. But the crown goes to Anne Hathaway, who we haven't seen in a while, in her party-ready Marc Jacobs Resort dress. And check those big, bold earrings. Too cute. Surf through for this week's best of the best.
Variety is the spice of life. This week's top picks span decadence and flirtation, ladylike and ultracool. This is a Paz Vega debut for Fab and what an entrance in this black thigh-slit Gucci Resort gown. And you can tell she loves it — look at how proud and elegant she looks. As for the rest of the best, Lauren Conrad is back in a colorful Mara Hoffman and Demi and Ashton complement each other to a tee. Surf on . . .
What a bounty of beauties. This week's mix of favorites range from straight-up red-carpet glamour to sidewalk casual chic. With a few Fashion Week memories thrown in for fun. Kate Moss provided eye candy all week at Paris Fashion Week, Iman made a cameo in an unforgettable gown, and Leighton pleased in punky Louis Vuitton. Possibly the most adorable photo goes to Margherita Missoni and her fashionable friends at the Valentino Spring show. How cute are they in their savvy style and bug-eyed shades? Follow through for more favorite fun.
You shouldn't be surprised this week's Fab faves are overflowing with style splendor — it was London Fashion Week. Kate Moss, Carine Roitfeld, Mary-Kate Olsen, Victoria Beckham, and Naomi were all there to revel. But Naomi looked most daring in her citron cobweb print Alexander McQueen minishift; isn't it perfect for her naughty personality? Stateside, premieres and parties proved that starlets are ready for Fall — notice a couple long-sleeve minidresses and cool outerwear.
Blam! Charlize Theron doesn't need much to shine, but her crisp cobalt Dior frock at the Burning Plain premiere sure turned up her ferosh factor. However, she wasn't the only celeb deserving of an honorable mention. Thanks to glorious NYFW and movie premieres, a flock of fashion fiends were looking sharp this week in a bevy of party dresses and unique separates. Want to check out my favorite 'fits from the week? Keep on to see Jessica Alba and Emmy Rossum in Narciso Rodriguez, Serena Williams in glitzy Gucci, Becki Newton in Marchesa, Megan Fox in Antonio Berardi, and more . . .
It's been a busy week with the start of New York Fashion Week, but you better believe I've been keeping a close eye on those stylish celebs. This week's gang is mostly fancied up — George Clooney's girl Elisabetta Canalis worked the red carpet in teal blue Roberto Cavalli, Eva Mendes balanced sexy and elegant, and Penelope Cruz experimented with a new color. But in my humble opinion, Alexis Bledel stole the show in her one-shoulder Christian Siriano. I mean, between the red lips, the two-tone frock, and the red pumps, it's perfection. See who else dazzled us.
Rumer Willis is turning into quite the style star these days. Have you noticed? She usually wears funky cuts with classic colors, but as of late, she's shown off her sophisticated side. Case in point: this sweet yet sexy Zac Posen. Perhaps taking cue from her glam mama? Other noteworthy celebs this week were Eva Mendes at the Venice Film Festival, Kylie Minogue in London, a couple Daytime Emmy Awards red carpet queens, and a few more. Go on, check 'em out.
I've been wooed by some unusual style suspects. Starting with Maria Sharapova. Not only is she a tennis star, but she's got some serious fashion flavor. And she has such a healthy physique, she looks great in everything. Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen graced us with their presence, looking every ounce of cool. Paparazzi stars Lindsay Lohan and the Kardashian sisters also dished out some noteworthy ensembs. Check it.
I hope you're not getting bored of my continuous fawning over Sienna's wicked style. What can I say? She's an official Fab favorite. This was another big week for her with The September Issue's NYC premiere — she is the celeb cover girl in the film, after all. She and Anna were colorfully fabulous at the premiere in Thakoon and Prada. There was more vivid eye candy where that came from, thanks to Renee Zellweger and Michelle Monaghan, while a certain Brazilian model and British babe prove neutrals are ultra modern.
The red carpet was just as exciting as the sidewalk this week. We kicked things off with the Teen Choice Awards so I had to throw in a couple beauties from that. In addition, we saw mega-magnetic couple Brad and Angelina at the LA premiere of Inglourious Basterds. Then it was a slew of cute, flirty Summer-appropo dresses, shorts, and rompers. Who was your favorite from this hot August week?
