I'm equally thrilled to pick up the latest issue of H&M Magazine as I am to get my W. While the latter satiates my desire for fantastical fashion, H&M's pleases my budget-conscious side. More than ever I am looking to the quarterly mag to provide me with cheap chic fashions. The Holiday Issue, one of my favorites, is filled with the latest news, the most Fab pieces from the retailer, beauty advice, and amazing editorials modeled by Tiiu Kuik, Lily Donaldson, and Karlie Kloss. More specifically, Winter trends are dissected, Chloë Sevigny is interviewed, cozy knits are spotlighted, and fashion emergencies are solved. But it doesn't end there — check it out.

While researching for Ungaro's fashion metamorphosis, I delved into the New York Fashion Week archives. So fun! One thing that occurred to me was how young and innocent today's models were back in the early '90s. Well, duh, they were younger and more innocent, so it's not an earth-shattering revelation. Still, I thought it would be fun to lead you through the transformations of some of today's models: Carmen Kass (left at Ralph Lauren, Spring '03), Gisele Bundchen, Jacquetta Wheeler, Erin Wasson, Tiiu Kuik, and Natalia Vodianova. Let me tell you — they were beautiful then, they're beautiful now.
While lots of girls opt for sexy outfits for their 21st birthdays, Estonian model Tiiu Kuik celebrated hers in an angelic Thomas Wylde ruffle dress and Christian Louboutin satin bow sandals. For variation, she belted her flowy frock. This is a good example of how a belt can really transform your look. Happy birthday, Tiiu!
Coach has utilized every color in the rainbow for their latest Bleecker collection ads. This shot in particular, with Estonian model Tiiu Kuik (far left) and company, is super fun in comparison to some of the more serious ads out there. Although heavy ads have their place, seeing a picture with lots of energy and bold hues is refreshing. I especially like the colored carpet, the textured tights and the dramatic flowers and feathers in the girls' hair. It's all very United Colors of Benetton, no? What do you think about Coach's amicable ads?
