Victoria's Secret model Miranda Kerr is one blessed lady. Not only does she have the pleasure of dating the Orlando Bloom, she's also unearthly gorgeous. At the Victoria's Secret Heavenly Kiss launch party, the Australian brunette chose a Balenciaga floral mini dress that looks like the sassy sister of the Dolce & Gabbana Spring gowns. Although her choice of satin peep-toe pumps is pretty, I switched them out for a more modern pair of lace-up peep toes.
Queen of the red carpet, Diane Kruger, continues to inspire. Of all the New Year's parties that went down, this looks like the most Fab one. Soho Grand's "Great Gatsby" was the place to be — beads, bubbly and babes for everyone! Who doesn't like to play dress up with the decades once in a while. You know I'm game. And so is Diane.

LBDs are tricky because if the silhouette is uninteresting, or unflattering, your look can turn out quite trite. That is unless you pile on colorful accessories: fuchsia shoes, a metallic belt, a satin clutch.

Though she didn't go fancy, she did put together a cute and comfy ensemble with her Juicy Couture plaid coat, black turtleneck, and brown suede boots. This look goes to show the power of a coat. I hadn't seen much from designer Tufi Duek until a friend and I recently went shopping in search of fancy dresses for a wedding we had to attend. Out of all the frocks that hung on the racks, one Tufi Duek dress beckoned my friend. She ended up buying it and in turn, I got to know a new designer!
At first I thought Tufi was a woman but when I did some research, I learned I was wrong (yes, it happens!). He was born in Rio de Janeiro but moved to São Paulo as a child. He is one of the most famous Brazilian designers and is responsible for the Forum, Triton and Tufi Duek brands, which have an international following. He has a huge fashion empire based in Brazil, but he is also popular internationally.

A color combo for the more daring, I have always enjoyed pairing two of my favorite colors: red & purple. The deep, vibrant, blue-hued colors create a funky yet exotic synergy; I wear them with dark denim or black. This color combo was big on the runways of the Spring collections of both Prada and Gucci - can you dig it?
Patent leather has officially become one of the latest fashion feeding frenzies. What's fabulous about this material is it is very resistant, timeless and sexy - what more could you ask for? As well, patent is no longer reserved for dressing up or accessories only; the new versions of it can be worn day or night, work or play, yay! Because patent is a plenty, and in such fantastic colors, I thought a week long Patent-A-Thon should provide a good fix.
