Guess which celebrity slipped into her Uggs after leaving the gym?

Sporting a lululemon Stride jacket ($108), Ashley Tisdale showed her love for all things Canadian as she left a Vancouver gym this week. Besides representing the Vancouver-based activewear brand, Ashley kept things loose and casual in sweatpants ($88), Ugg Classic short boots in black ($140), and Ray-Ban aviators ($135). You can't tell from this picture, but she left the gym holding her sneaks and a bottle of Smartwater. What do you think of Ashley's look?
>> Giovanna Battaglia has a penchant for high heels — kitten heels even — and the occasional chic flat, but for the past two nights, she's popped up in London wearing none of the aforementioned. On her feet instead? A set of black Uggs. Apparently it's not a newfound style proclivity — she Tweeted a couple of days ago: "I broke my pinky toe! :-( So no more heels . . . for 10 days, but the most painful thing is that today I was forced to buy UGG."
Six years I lived in New York City and never found the perfect city-chic Winter boot. A boot that could brave the elements (slush, rain, sludge, funk) and look cute. There are more options now than ever before. I still require a pair — for skiing in the Sierras — and I'm having a hard time deciding. There's furry, suede, rubberized, sporty, fringed, laced up, something for every snow bunny. These Tory Burch Rabbit Fur Trim Duck Boot ($176) are pretty perfect; urban, fuzzy, army green, Aspen-ready. Sorels, a classic, have similar lace-up styles, and UGGS even come in magenta for the bright-eyed babe. Stomp through for 15 storm-ready options . . .
Try to pry your eyes away from Ashley Greene's cute pooch and focus on her cunning travel style. The smiley actress was spotted at LAX wearing a fuzzy Urban Outfitters houndstooth cardigan paired with skinny jeans and black knit Uggs. Not only is she on to the sweater coat trend, but her accompaniments also pay homage to a Winter retreat vibe. Doesn't it make you want to cozy up in front of the fireplace with a good book and some hot chocolate?

Though it was a short holiday week, there were some cuties out and about. Celebs were mostly casual, while traveling and holiday shopping, while one celeb never takes her steel heels off wherever she goes — compare Kate Hudson's breezy California style to Victoria Beckham's severe fur. Hope you have a happy, healthy holiday, here's some favorite fun.
It's official, Stella McCartney rocks my world. And, having met her, I know she's a charming person. Dude — if I could design a dreamy zebra-print sweater like that, I would be rocking it, too. Her outfit is perfect for a foggy London day. Skinny gray jeans, warm lined boots — probably the short version of her Eskimo boot — funky sunnies, and her favorite chain tote keep her cozy yet cute. Keep doing what you do, Stella.

The number of gals who we've seen stomping around Brooklyn in clogs is frankly starting to alarm us--penny loafers we could deal with, but not this. With the surprising news that UGGs are faring quite well this year, we can't help but wonder if women are taking to comfort shoes as a subconscious balancing act. Take the front page of Style.com today--right there, front-and-center are a pair of Sorels. Everyone knows that a gal's got to face the snow in something but do we really need to speak of it on the front page? Is this some kind of recession-friendly trend report? Please, just bump up a review of a DKNY show or something! Otherwise, we've seen a few very suspicious sandals floating around on Net-a-Porter. It seems both Chloe and Phillip Lim have opted for comfort over, well, style (okay, they're not that bad but still). Could these instances of hyper-comfort be a response to the sky-high heels we've been staring at for seasons? We're not going to pretend our ankles don't hurt or that we're not sick of finding that the shoes we want are just too high to wear. But, ladies, please! Unless you're six feet tall, your calves deserve better!
We were resisting the urge to write about this but it seems everywhere we turn there is evidence to prove that UGG boots are still selling like hot cakes. Today WWD reported that UGG was responsible for carrying independent retailers through an ugly weekend of slow sales and bad weather. To prove the point, or strictly by coincidence, Racked snapped a picture of the line outside of the Soho store and Fashionista posted on their overall amazement. This, in the end, opened the floodgates for commenters who, for the most part, only confirmed the strange phenomenon with enthusiasm. We're not saying that UGGs have been eradicated from New York but, we will say, this is a perfect example of when it pays not to live here--sometimes it can actually make you really, really out of touch. With a little research we learned that every major retailer still stocks them with the exception of Net-a-Porter, who seems to be stocking a replica brand. Who knew?
Rachael Ray Uggs: Love It or Hate It? Somewhere in between winning an Emmy and hosting the Burger Bash, Food Network star and TV personality Rachael Ray found time to custom-design these Winter boots.
