Fab Flash: Kensiegirl Launches Fresh Footwear

If you're into Kensiegirl's sweet and flirty apparel line, you'll be excited to hear they will be adding footwear to its portfolio come Fall.

If you're into Kensiegirl's sweet and flirty apparel line, you'll be excited to hear they will be adding footwear to its portfolio come Fall. The brand has just inked a deal with popular shoemaker Camuto — the same maker of Vince Camuto, Jessica Simpson, and BCBGirls footwear — to create a fun and affordable collection of shoes that will follow the same aesthetic as its clothing line.

“Expanding into footwear is the natural next step for us to deepen our connection with the Kensiegirl consumer,” said Eric Karls, president of Kensiegirl. The line, ranging from $49 to $59, will make its first debut at department stores in October. The price is right and hopefully the styles will be, too!

90210 star AnnaLynne McCord attended a Victoria's Secret event over the weekend in a fun, flirty look that's a cinch to re-create. Her black-and-white Armani Exchange mini wrap dress has a good-girl silhouette but a foxy print. Her artsy circle necklace and large art-deco ring add a quirky twist, while her black peep-toe pumps are downright sassy.

Polka dots tend to connote whimsy, but actress Jennifer Connelly wears the print with complete maturity. She attended the Paris photocall of The Day the Earth Stood Still in a delicate polka-dot blouse, a black mini skirt, and cap-toe Lanvin platforms. She kept her accessories to a minimum, allowing her black and creme palette to speak volumes.

Look of the Day: Teacher's Pet

There's no shame in being teacher's pet when you look as cute as spharrell.

There's no shame in being teacher's pet when you look as cute as spharrell. Her long cardigan is preppy chic and reminds me of something Serena would wear in Gossip Girl. The bright necklace and shimmering shoes are just what she needed to take her outfit from simple to sizzling.

Here's what she has on:

  • Tank: Forever 21
  • Cardigan: Nordstrom
  • Jeans: Seven7
  • Shoes: Vince Camuto
  • Necklace: Unknown

Congrats to spharrell!

Vince Camuto Magena Peep Toe Boots: Love It or Hate It?

I'm definitely open to experimental footwear and these Vince Camuto Magena Peep Toe Boots ($149) caught my eye for that reason.

I'm definitely open to experimental footwear and these Vince Camuto Magena Peep Toe Boots ($149) caught my eye for that reason. The only thing is, does it look like a boot wearing a turtleneck? I think this is one of those instances where I would have to see it on a foot to be able to judge it accurately. What do you think?

Selita Ebanks doesn't mind posing for the camera. Sporting her cropped do, the model looked fresh and fantastic in NYC during a visit to The Tyra Banks Show to celebrate the first all-black model issue of Vogue Italia. It looks like walking down the runway has perfected her art of styling. I like how she wrapped a brown belt around her cuffed Smythe boyfriend blazer and spiced things up with those colorful cut-out heels. One word describes this look: Fab!

Trend Alert: The Gladiator Tuck

As fabulous as they are, I never said celebrities don't sometimes wear the silliest trends.

As fabulous as they are, I never said celebrities don't sometimes wear the silliest trends. The gladiator tuck is a questionable one. Here, some starry eyed youngins are sporting their skinnies tucked into their gladiator sandals. Sienna Miller was actually spotted wearing this style in 2005 and it's obvious as to why it hasn't caught on that quickly. I'm on the fence; I like the look with gladiator heels better, at least it elongates. I suggest sticking with dark colors — dark denims and brown and black glads. But if you're young, bold and funky, tuck yourself right in.

Lauren went for a fresh, pared-down look to hang with Kanye at Goa in LA last night, wearing an Alexander Wang button-front minidress. The stark white offsets her tan (and extended long locks) beautifully, and her understated accessories tie it all together. It's a nice change for Lauren without getting too dramatic, wouldn't you agree?

Christina Ricci gives us a lesson on how to be subtly sexy at the the opening of Barneys at The Palazzo Resort Hotel Casino. Her navy silk dress would be conservative if it weren't for that plunging keyhole neck and gold medallion necklace. The rest is simple and sleek, so I threw in a couple items to help complete the look. Does anyone else wish we saw more of Ms. Ricci?! Especially if she's looking this good?
