>> Candice Swanepoel has been Victoria's Secret's go-to girl in the last few months — she was on the brand's holiday and swim catalog covers, and figured prominently into last year's Victoria's Secret Fashion Show as well. After Mario Testino shot her for VMAN's Winter 2010 issue (declaring, “Candice is an amazing new find for me. Gorgeous, free, fun. I decided to do the whole trip on her visiting Denmark. She was awesome and did not feel inhibited. She made the shoot an amazing experience. The guys were in awe of her.”), many guessed that she was well on her way to being the next Victoria's Secret Angel to cross over into high fashion.
And it seems like that's the plan. She's on GQ UK's February 2011 cover with a smattering of fellow Victoria's Secret models, but she also just popped up on the February 2011 Vogue Italia cover — quite the coup — shot by Steven Meisel and styled by Carlyne Cerf de Dudzeele. Will we see her on a choice (non-Victoria's Secret) runway next?

And how could anyone resist someone with that name?" If Muse keeps this up, she, Lindsey Wixson, and Karlie Kloss could be bringing American models back in a big way. She's always been just as much of a model as an actress. And, for this month's Vogue Italia, Keira Knightley lights up the lens, trying on Valentino and Chloe and a painted mustache for kicks. It's completely playful and girlie; a lace mini for playing games, pretty prints for lounging. Keira's a natural — utterly gorgeous and just a bit mischievous.

In her latest editorial for Vogue Italia's December 2010 issue, Gisele steps in front of Steven Meisel's camera and does what she does best — poses like there's no tomorrow. Swathed in the likes of Miu Miu, Max Mara, and Michael Kors — not to mention plastic and latex — she works all the angles, and convinces us that rubber may actually be the new "it" fabric. Gisele Bundchen scored the new December cover of Vogue Italia, and inside she stars in a rubber-themed shoot from photographer Steven Meisel. She was also featured in the magazine's December 2009 issue in a Twitter-themed spread with other models, but Gisele doesn't have to share the limelight this time. Gisele was likewise solo last week in St. Bart's to do a backside-bearing campaign rumored to be for Isabel Marant, which would mean she's following in the footsteps of the brand's former faces Kate Moss and Daria Werbowy. It seems as though an eye for fashion runs in the Bundchen-Brady household, as Tom's lined up a collaboration of his own with Ugg — he's set to star in its Fall 2011 ads and collaborate on a line of footwear, outerwear, and accessories.

>> There have been rumors circulating that Catherine McNeil had changed up her hair in a big way, and now her agency Next has released the first photos of McNeil's new black bob (a couple more here), adding that it was cut and colored by "a friend." Frockwriter thinks that statement might be code for it having been done on a recent yet-to-be-released job; it's not rare for a model to have her hair changed for a shoot: Abbey Lee Kershaw's was cut to shoulder-length by Chanel for the Fall 2010 ad campaign.
That exact thing also happened to Ajak Deng, who recently went blond after encouragement from Jimmy Paul and Edward Enninful. “They dyed my hair for Italian Vogue, but everyone seems to like it, so I think I’m going to keep it like this for a while! It was a little shocking,” she told Modelinia. “I was crying, but now I’m trying to rock my new hair!”
