This week, we asked you to show us nude can be sexy. This may seem like a no-brainer, because nude is intrinsically sexy, but we've been spying some more conservative pieces. We wanted something that would turn heads during the day as well as something noctivagant. Something slinky, seductive. Cake16 went there, her breezy nude ensemb is perfect for a Summer date. That button-down ivory Whitley Kros top is borderline lingerie, while the nude strappy sandals would show off anyone's legs. Gold jewelry flows perfectly with nude, and if there were ever a sexy bag, that YSL beige croc is it.

Look Book Love: Whitley Kros, Holiday '09
Whitley Kros will always have a special place in Fab's heart. It was such a pleasure meeting the designers, Marisa Ribisi and Sophia Coloma, at LA Fashion Week Spring '09. The girls have just released their Holiday collection and it's everything we expected from them: girlie, with fashion-forward touches, but never over the top. Let's examine. There's extremely simple looks with silk scoop tanks and slim black pants, then more complicated ones with curvacious jackets and swing skirts. Lamé jazzes up the collection a bit to give it that holiday feel. The colors are subdued, but it wouldn't be Whitley Kros without some of their signature turquoise, purple, and pinks.
Trend Alert: Animal Farm
I'm moving on. I'll always love animal prints, but who can resist taking it further and wearing your favorite furry friend? The moment I saw this Whitley Kros WK Spring Tank ($176), I melted. It reminded me of one of my favorite snacks: Barnum's Animal Crackers! The silky tank itself is sexy, but the little traveling animals are sweet. No wonder there's only a Medium left, looks like I'm not the only one with animal instincts.
Fab Finding Follow-Up: Easter Sunday Picnic
On Easter Sunday, the fam and I headed to a huge picnic filled with good food and relatives I hadn't seen since Christmas. The weather was partly sunny so I needed you to help me find a fantastic ensemble that incorporated layers. I was thinking something along the lines of Isabel Marant's Spring collection.
I started you off with this Leyendecker Chiffon Flirt Skirt ($210) because it's festive without going overboard. Let's see the top three picks!
Look #1, created by Whiplash, looks the most Marant-inspired. I want those sandals!

Funky Fashions at LA Fashion Week
LA Fashion Week is a lot smaller than say New York or Paris, but don't be fooled by its diminutive size. We spotted some fabulous collections overflowing with cutting-edge design and artistry. From Grecian gowns to Rick Owens-inspired jackets, LA had lots. Check out our favorite stuff from the week!
Celeb Style: Audrina Patridge
The Hills star Audrina Patridge looked like a punky princess as she joined Jaime Pressly and Krysten Ritter at the premiere of I Love You, Man. Her navy dress from Whitley Kros was the sweetest piece of the ensemble, while her patent bow clutch (from McQueen) and her studded booties (Zanotti) lend a harder edge. Shop it all now.

Designer Duos: Guess Which Is Which!
Some designers create clothes alone, some do it with a partner. Dolce & Gabbana, Proenza Schouler, and Rodarte are some of the more famous houses with designing duos. You know their names, but do you know their faces? Take my quiz to find out.
Los Angeles Fashion Week: Whitley Kros Spring 2009
Los Angeles Fashion Week: Whitley Kros Spring 2009
The mixed prints, marching band jackets, and slashed denim we saw from Whitley Kros were all on target for Spring 09, but, no matter how you slice it, this collection is one hundred percent West Coast. We're not going to say that on weekends we don't roll out of our apartments in loose fitting outfits that are one part what we wore the night before and one part boyfriend's t-shirt--but, you know, not all the time. The hair, makeup, and styling from Whitley Kros is something we doubt will appeal to fashionistas worldwide--even if untidiness has its place in every young person's life. In truth, some looks resonated with us more than others but there's really nothing all that bad to say about the collection. You know, sometimes you've nothing more profound to say than "it's just not my cup of tea".
