>> Yves Saint Laurent's Paris Apartment Put Up for Sale —After much of Yves Saint Laurent's private art collection has been auctioned in the past couple of years since his death, Pierre Berge put the designer's Left Bank apartment up for sale this week. Saint Laurent and Berge first moved into the apartment on the rue de Babylone in 1970 and bought it eight years later. The asking price for the 11-room duplex, which covers 5,600 square feet with a 4,700 square foot garden, is €23.5 million (approx. $31.4 million). [NY Times]
I Want This Wardrobe: Serena van der Woodsen
It's going to be a big night for Serena van der Woodsen on Gossip Girl. While the rest of her cohorts are busy with love problems, Serena has bigger fish to fry with a surprise visit from her long lost father. For her much anticipated family reunion, the Upper East Sider layered a sleek chocolate trench coat over a maroon dress by Porter Grey, charcoal ribbed tights, and platform pumps. Such a pretty, polished ensemble, but is it enough to win her father's heart? I guess we'll have to wait and see . . .

This Week's Fab Faves
Interestingly, the common themes this week were pants and maxi dresses. It's Spring, yet celebs aren't showing so much skin. Ginnifer Goodwin couldn't be cooler in her YSL bustier, pants, and blueberry satin sandals and matching clutch. As for the rest, we have two Camilla Belle cameos, favorite Fab couple Diane Kruger and Joshua Jackson, and some Glee babes working the red carpet. Take a gander . . .
Rumors Surround Stefano Pilati's Status at Yves Saint Laurent
>> Stefano Pilati's failure to appear at last night's Metropolitan Opera Gala, Yves Saint Laurent's biggest event of the year stateside, raised a few eyebrows, The Daily reports. For the last two years running, Pilati has showed at the event, usually with Anna Wintour by his side, but last night neither appeared.
Apparently during Paris Fashion Week, talk turned to Pilati's sales performance at the brand: top retailers reported that Yves Saint Laurent's accessories sell well (Pilati has a foundation in shoes and bags) but the ready-to-wear fails to resonate with customers. Rumors that PPR is searching for a new creative director at the brand ensued.
Chloe Sevigny's YSL Noir Gloves: Love It or Hate It?
Chloe Sevigny has a lot of fashion pull — we've long admired her eclectic style. She always stands out at events for going against the grain, showing us something fresh.
Last night, at the Metropolitan Opera Gala premiere of Armida, she opted for a simple black jumpsuit. There's no question she can pull that off, but long noir gloves in April just seem too wintry to me. I'm all about dramatic effect, but I feel like it's a month, or two, too late. That funky gold necklace saves the look, breaking up the all black, but I'd like to see a little more skin — you?

Celeb Style: Kourtney Kardashian
Kardashian sis Kourtney showed off her post-baby bod in Miami Beach. She looks pretty fly in her Free People coral print romper and teetering YSL tribute platform sandals. Rich accessories — a tough gold watch, a long strap black Chanel bag, and Tod's square sunglasses — ooze style appeal. I don't know, that romper is pretty cute . . .

Highlights From Paris Fashion Week, Fall 2010
Paris Fashion Week concludes the Fall Fashion Week season — sniff. So far, Fall forecasts include army green, major furriness, cocooned knits, and maxed-out skirts. Rounding out that list is red. From Maison Martin Margiela to Givenchy, Sophia Kokosalaki to Isabel Marant, bold pops of red livened up the moody Paris palette. Silhouettes ranged from slick and slim to all-out poufy. Proceed for more highlights from PFW.

2010 Oscars: Kate Winslet
The Oscar-winning actress and presenter is serene and statuesque in metallic YSL. Love the modern feel of the fitted bodice offset with more intricate jewels. With a larger statement necklace, she keeps earrings simple and adds a diamond bracelet and simple clutch to complete her elegant look.
