There are tons of affordable options for you to experiment with and major fashion points to be earned. Ashley Greene rocked a print version with high-waisted MiH jeans and a Gucci bag for a radically '70s look while walking the streets in LA. I kinda love it.

There's good news and bad news. The good news: There's no boot dress code this Fall. It's pretty much anything goes in terms of heel height, over-the-knee, bootie — you name it, it's totally wearable. The bad news: this could lead to some manic dressing — crazily changing footwear at least 10 times before getting out the door.
The ever-practical Michael Kors has a solution. These Kors by Michael Kors Multi Zip Boots ($891) playfully combine function and fashion. Essentially, four boots in one. You're still paying a lot per pair, but let's not forget the price of cool — the ability to unzip (four times) to a whole new look just might make these worth the price tag.
Sometimes, you don't need a lot to make a statement. That's why I like VintageBabe's modern outfit. Her streamlined khaki dress has only one focal point: the wraparound zipper. This detailing might be minimal, but it gives her maximum impact.

The '80s are back, and with them zippered jeans. I know, I know, it's trendy, and can be tacky, but look at how Comic-Con empress Emma Stone makes it look cupcake-cute. By pairing her dark blue zippered jeans with an ultra-femme bowed top, she bypassed the retro overtone. It's a perfect blend of tough and tasty.
The exposed-zipper craze is still going strong, as exemplified by chicandcool. Her dress reminds me of the Phillip Lim recycled zipper dress Kate Bosworth wore. Her red clutch and patent pumps up the sassy factor. Simple yet snazzy. Zip it . . . zip it real good!

Remember the Phillip Lim recycled zipper dress Kate Bosworth wore at the Gorgeous and Green event when I spoke with her? It was absolutely stunning in person. Looks like Becki Newton agrees. The actress wore the same dress to a party in NYC yesterday. Both blondes wore pointy black pumps and kept themselves free of gaudy jewels. But, it appears that Becki's shoes are suede, while Kate's are leather. Who do you think looks better in Phillip Lim's recycled zipper dress?
