The Avatar premiere in LA brought out a bevy of beauties, but one star in particular caught my attention: Zoe Saldana. It's far different from the per usual solid fringe and adds a cool textural effect. Try it in a solid pattern like Zoe, or test out a dip-dye motif for something extra groovy.

Menswear vests are still in, but now is the ideal time to cozy up to a cable-knit sweater vest. It whispers Fall, and keeps you warm enough without suffocating. You can wear it over a tank to show off your arms or a long-sleeve tee when it gets super chilly. These savage minis — whether lush leopard, cheetah, or tiger prints — add the ideal dose of animal instinct, and look best paired with loose casual tops. Just look at Miranda for inspiration; you know I will.
Who can forget Jennifer Beals's sexy moves in '80s cult classic Flashdance — remember that water scene? Sizzle. She alone might have been responsible for the flurry of females dashing to get themselves an oversize sweatshirt and leggings — I know I sure did. Ruffly sandals have taken our feet by storm with their ultra girly statement. They're the perfect way to incorporate sweet interest to your bubble toes and look great with cutoff shorts or a simple skirt. I'm a fan of the texture and depth, but they're a little too feminine for my taste. I've long loved the combination of black and pink, so when I saw Taylor Momsen at the Topshop US opening party, my eyes widened. It might be hard to believe with her stealth sense of style, but Jenny Humprey's a Spring chicken. In fact, she just turned 16 on the latest episode of Gossip Girl. Sadly, Jenny's sweet 16 didn't pan out like she hoped but at least she got a shimmery gold Missoni trapeze dress — gifted from Serena — out of the situation. I've lightened my jeans, have you? If not, get to steppin'. I made the switch when I saw Kate Bosworth in these J Brand 912 Thrasher Ripped Jeans ($218). Super cool, right? Love the bleaching effect. The look is total '80s but, like Kate, you can make it as modern as you like. I didn't fork over that amount for the J Brands but I found a similar, less expensive pair I love. With Spring on the horizon, there is no better time to lighten your jeans.
