Whether it's the influence of all the stylish looks we've seen at the Sundance Film Festival or the daily chill that has us craving a mountain escape (complete with a cup of hot cocoa), we're all about après-ski style right now. Après-ski is that time where you relax and enjoy some appetizers and drinks after you've been on the slopes all day — you want to look pulled together, without trying too hard, which is why we headed over to Beckley to style up a few enviable looks just begging to be taken to the ski lodge.
Just because the temperatures drop doesn't mean your style has to as well. Whether you're a sporty girl who spends time on the slopes, or you prefer to look cute while sipping hot chocolate in the lodge, we've put together three amazing ensembles for your Winter sartorial inspiration. Stay warm and chic with all your Winter activities with these cold-weather style tips! On Allison: Topshop sweater.
Being that I'm always cold, and don't want to sacrifice style to stay warm, I love it when I find a piece that blends cozy with chic. American Apparel's thigh-high socks are one such discovery, and my new favorite obsession is these Aprés Collective Cropped Moto Jackets ($285 each). Besides keeping you super comfy and fashionable — check out the cool thumb holes — it can be worn a variety of ways, so you get way more looks for your buck. I own the Winter white version and wear it on the streets and the slopes!
After a hard—and in our case, most likely life threatening—run down the mountain, it is always a joy to wrap up in winter's coziest separates and hit the lodge for a well-deserved après ski hot toddy. Stirrup leggings and serious snow boots are necessary to fight off the chill, while Proenza Schouler's chunky pullover and Matthew Williamson's wrap scarf just make us really happy.
