Target's Go International collaborations with outside designers like Proenza Schouler and Jovovich-Hawk have been so wildly successful, the retailer has decided to keep the momentum going between collaborations with fashion-forward collections designed in-house.

The first such group launches April 13 and features colorblocked dresses, long vests, wide-legged trouser pants, and lots of color. Prices run $17-$50 and each Go International Private Label Collection will be available for one month. Who Wore It Better? Zac Posen Watercolor Dress

Rachel Bilson showed her artsy side by wearing Zac Posen's watercolor dress at a recent movie premiere.

Rachel Bilson showed her artsy side by wearing Zac Posen's watercolor dress at a recent movie premiere. Socialite Olivia Palermo, who was literally at every show at New York Fashion Week, also wore the dress yesterday. Both wore opaque tights, but Olivia also covered up with a black blazer. The Look For Less: Twinkle by Wenlan Thrills & Frills Dress

This Twinkle by Wenlan Thrills & Frills Dress ($172, originally $429) makes me reminisce of grade school when I would think in watercolors.

This Twinkle by Wenlan Thrills & Frills Dress ($172, originally $429) makes me reminisce of grade school when I would think in watercolors. It's a frock I'd want to frolic in, but even with the discount, it's still much for something I'd only wear a couple seasons.

Trend Alert: Unordinary Clutches

A simple black clutch?

A simple black clutch? BOR-ING. It's time to retire good 'ol faithful and have a little fun with the clutch. I mean, it's so small anyway you might as well make it pop. This is the season to delve into unordinary clutches. Unwilling, or unable, to spend $500 on a clutch? Scour your local vintage store. Your unordinary clutch is out there somewhere. Godspeed.

Glitterati: Frey Wille

Every now and again a jewelry brand comes along whose bling you can't necessarily afford (yet), but it's too gorgeous not to look.

Every now and again a jewelry brand comes along whose bling you can't necessarily afford (yet), but it's too gorgeous not to look. Frey Wille is one of those companies.

It consists of a team of artists, goldsmiths, and experts of fine enameling. Their modern jewels, ranging from $300 to $945, take you on a colorful journey through historic periods of art (ancient Greece to Egypt) and through the worlds of famous artists like Claude Monet and Gustav Klimt. Each piece will go perfectly with the artsy streak in fashion. Money aside, this sounds like my kind of expedition!

Trends come and go, but the following stood out this year: the return of color, menswear, sheer bliss, global chic, and art school. Lanvin was one of the designers who spearheaded the revival of bold colors; Ralph Lauren deliciously dabbled in menswear; Calvin Klein went sheer madness; Etro embraced tribal motifs; Diane von Furstenberg attended art school. All these trends have staying power but which do you think is the best new trend of 2007?

I have to give a shout-out to this Banana Republic Silk animal-print top ($30, originally $58) because it already hangs in my closet! I love the vivid colors and the animal print — perfect to carry me well into Spring with that artsy trend that's surfacing.

Trend Alert: Brush Strokes

Artists have always been enigmatic creatures.

Artists have always been enigmatic creatures. Andy Warhol? Pablo Picasso? Frida Kahlo? The list goes on and on. But artists can even inspire other artists. Such was the case of Marc Jacobs and artist Richard Prince; this inspiration caused a complete bouleversement of the Louis Vuitton Spring '08 collection.

Even earlier then that, Stefano Pilati dipped into the paint bucket with his Cruise collection for Yves Saint Laurent, as daringly modeled by Demi Moore. I'm digging these artsy brush strokes but I know there's different strokes for different folks so are you feeling inspired?
