Christian Dior showcased balletic looks for Fall 2012, inspiring us to add a little dance inspiration to our everyday looks. For today's DIY, we're taking a cue from the runway and giving a pair of metallic flats a ballet-slipper feel with black ribbon. Have any of you taken ballet? I have, and what I loved more than learning French terms and delicate moves was wearing those sweet tutus. A friend of mine is in a modern dance group and they're having their recital soon. She invited me to go, and though I'm excited to see her moves, I'm nervous about my outfit. I know I said ballet-inspired looks are happening but this is ballerina overkill! This Rampage Brocade and Tulle Ballerina Dress, on sale for $71.99 (originally $129), is too froofy and too pink if you ask me. Though it may make a killer Halloween costume one day...what do you think? Love it or hate it?

I feel pretty...Oh so pretty...I feel pretty and witty and gay...This ballet-inspired trend is definitely a pretty one. You all know I attended the Nutcracker last month and am a fan of the ballet.
