Rashida, Kate, and Kirsten: Who Rocked the Fashion Party?

At a true-blue fashion party, you better expect some serious style.

At a true-blue fashion party, you better expect some serious style. Barneys New York courted its West Coast fans at a dinner to honor Proenza Schouler last night in LA, and the crowd included the to-be-expected celebrities that love fashion. Rashida Jones brightened up her spotted Proenza Schouler dress with a serious statement necklace, while Kate Bosworth kept her longer black-and-white Proenza style simple, accented with ALDO pumps and a structured clutch, also from the label. Kirsten Dunst must have gotten the same subdued memo: she wore the brand, too, and picked all black, playing with proportions as she mixed a long top with shorts. If you were stepping out to dine with the City of Angels' most fashion friendly, which would you pick?

What We're Sweet On: Body Lotion With Attitude

When you think luxury body lotions, an English cowshed may be the last image to pop into your head.

When you think luxury body lotions, an English cowshed may be the last image to pop into your head. But with one sniff of Cowshed's luxe lotions, you'll be an instant convert. The British brand recently became available stateside at Barneys, making it easier for those of us on the other side of the pond to get our hands on it. And with therapeutic, natural ingredients like wild-crafted plant extracts and pure essential oils, you'll want to add these lotions to your wish list.

Available in six "moods," ranging from relaxing to invigorating to balancing, my favorite is the brand's Grumpy Cow ($28). Don't let the cheeky name fool you; this creamy concoction boasts an invigorating scent that instantly adds a jolt of energy when you swipe it on. So the next time you're in a mood, pay a visit to the Cowshed.

Barneys New York's Famous Warehouse Sale Will Be Open to Everyone 24/7

Starting next Monday, your (and our) online shopping outlook will be enhanced tenfold.

Starting next Monday, your (and our) online shopping outlook will be enhanced tenfold. The reason? Barneys New York is launching a permanent barneyswarehouse.com website. As in, what once was a biannual all-out designer markdown battle of wits, strength, and style savvy will soon be available to us 24/7. Now, no matter where you live (right now there are only 13 outlet stores nationwide), you'll be privy to past-season sale items, discounted to up to 75 percent. "I certainly think this could be our biggest store," said Barneys Executive Vice President Daniella Vitale. And with all this talk of "liquidation" ecommerce, and the obvious excitement that comes with the iconic retailer's move into the digital outlet space, we can't help but hope that this factory fever (J.Crew announced its full-time J.Crew Factory site back in October) continues to grow. Do you think the burgeoning trend of online markdown oases actually prompts us to shop more? Or is it merely the idea of having a more affordable (and accessible) option that makes this news all the sweeter? Weigh in below.
