The holidays may be over, but many of us don't feel as if we've had a vacation, so we're planning an actual getaway for 2009. As most moms and pops aren't able to take a tot-free jaunt, we've got to get them geared up.

The adorable clothing line, Spike & Annie, takes resortwear for kids to a whole new level. The youthful collection of frocks, swimsuits, and playwear is a bright addition to your lil ones vacation and Spring threads. I am especially fond of the line of adorable bathing suits the Beach Baby Two Piece Bathing Suit, which turn lil cuties into bathing beauties — more than enough to melt a mommy's heart.

I always have a hard time finding a good "exercise bathing suit." When it comes to working out at the pool, I like to be a little more covered up than I would normally be if I were just hanging out at the pool. Nike Shortinis are my new favorite bathing suits for exercise. Too bad I didn't discover them earlier this summer, but there is still time to get some good use out of them.

The two-piece women's Nike Poly Tech Shortini ($88.00) features beach-inspired styling and training-ready technology. The suit is made with anti-bacterial, quick-drying fabric. For added sun protection, the suit is constructed with fabric that offers SPF 50 UV protection. A great suit for swimming outdoors. Ok, I admit this swimwear designer must know her stuff: she worked at Victoria's Secret for seven years. Sylvie Cachay's debut line of swimwear, Syla, consists of sharply cut suits, oversize beach towels in pretty tropical prints and matching sarongs. The prints are colorful and fun and are inspired by art deco and eighteenth-century chinoiserie, a Chinese artistic influence. Cachay combines youth and history to create modern swimwear. Yummy!

Though it's still Spring, Summer is fast approaching so you should already be on the prowl for some new sexy swimwear! Last week I showed you some of my current favorite suit trends: metallic bikinis, cut-out one pieces, exotic suits, pin up styles and surfing wear. Life & Style featured some celebs in their suits according to their body types - so helpful! I for one always like to buy suits that accentuate my small B cup chest - so below I have chosen a couple suits that will give my boobs a little boost. A slew of models were at the Sydney Airport recently, but this time, they weren't there to catch a flight to a fashion show, because the catwalk was already there waiting for them at the Qantas First Lounge. Australian designer Collette Dinnigan showed off her latest Resort collection at the first-class lounge and some gorgeous swimwear, nautical-inspired and ruffle pieces were showcased.

You may be wondering why Collette chose the Sydney airport as her venue. Turns out, the creative director of the airlines, Marc Newsom, is her good friend. This was the first time in two years that Collette showed her collection in her hometown.
