Jessica Alba Goes From Bright Denim to Even Brighter Bags
Jessica Alba injected a pop of pizazz into her street style with a bright orange Ralph Lauren crossbody bag, multicolor Ferragamo flats, and blue Elizabeth and James shades while enjoying an iced coffee in Beverly Hills. The actress has been all over bright-colored denim lately, but for this outing she ditched them for bold accessories. Then Jessica layered a denim vest and thick gray scarf over a white top and rose ankle J Brand skinnies. Style Jessica's eye-catching designer flats with rose skinnies and a white tee, or for a feminine variation on her look, ditch the jeans for a flirty skirt. Don't forget a bright bag — here's another one we love — to complete your Spring style.

Celebrity Lookbook: Colorful Carryalls
While a designer handbag certainly packs a statement accessory punch, these celebrities kick it up a notch with a double dose of brights. We've spotted Jessica Alba carrying an emerald-toned Bulgari Serpente shoulder bag, Nicole Richie showing off an oversized lemon-hued YSL Dome satchel, and Katie Holmes with her bold red Clare Vivier messenger bag. By adding a colorful carryall to the mix, you'll reap the benefits of an instantly spiced-up off-duty look. Take notes from Mandy Moore, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, and Sienna Miller — each stylish lady found a happy balance between a neutral effortless ensemble and a vibrant bag. Meredith Wendell's Gorgeously Sporty Fall 2011 Collection
>> Accessories line Meredith Wendell is relatively new — but its colorblock bags, quirky-chic belts, and geo-pop baubles are already regular fixtures on the pages of Vogue, Elle, W, Harper's Bazaar, and Marie Claire. Created in 2008 by husband-and-wife duo Meredith and Wendell German, the line features strong silhouettes, luxurious textures, and richly-vibrant color combinations — a sporty-luxe aesthetic that's right in step with the mood of recent seasons. "The color inspiration comes mainly from The Greenbrier Hotel in West Virginia. I spent my childhoods there, and the Dorothy Draper-designed interiors are so vibrant and dynamic, it’s hard not to become inspired," Meredith explains. In fact, In fact, the Greenbrier is such a strong influence that in recent seasons, the Germans have traveled to West Virginia to shoot the line's lookbooks — lushly styled by friend and creative collaborator Beth Fenton — on the grounds of the storied hotel.
Here, a look at the current collection — including images from the Chris Brooks-shot lookbook, and a selection of pieces (priced from $220 to $1,900) currently available to shop online.
