You're probably already privy to cargos being all the rage these days. J Brand's Houlihans are one of the most popular, especially with the celebrity crowd. But there are many other cute and affordable options out there, so I set out to explore and landed on 10 Fab-approved styles. Olive green, crisp white, pitch black, shiny, cropped, skinny — there's a silhouette and hue for every cargo fan. I even found an inexpensive alternative to the J Brand version!
So here's what I want to know, my dears. These pants are $228. That's a lot (and even with a discount, they're still expensive). It's the kind of money I don't really need to spend right now. However, they're so unique, and so hot right now, I wonder if I can resist.
So if they fit, should I splurge?

I gasped when I saw Victoria Beckham's latest travel ensemble. It doesn't get more awesome than this. Her to-die-for olive green silk cargo pants make the ensemble, while a black blazer, nude patent Brian Atwood Maniac pumps, Ray Ban aviators, and a gold watch up the slick factor. Gorgeous color palette, on-point proportions.

Thanks to Prada and their reinvention of utilitarian chic, the cargo pant has taken on numerous forms. Whether full-on cargo, drawstring, low-wise, fatigue, cropped or beachy, the unskinny pant is here to stay. So when you've had enough of your skinny jeans, take a breather in a pair of these. I love them for travel or a good ol' dog walk around the block. Avoid anything too dressed up or business-y on top and keep the sporty vibe alive with some gladiator sandals and layered tanks.
They're one of our favorite must-have wardrobe staples -- comfortable, casual and still tres chic. How much you pay for them is up to you!
Old Navy is the old standby when it comes to inexpensive, casual weekend wear. These pants are available for $29. Sturdy, solid and oh-so wearable, whether to the grocery store, the movie theater or the mall.
Sanctuary's Drift Pant is available from Shop Intuition for $135. Slightly dressier than the Old Navy version, the belted bow gives the classic cargo pant an updated and feminine touch.
Saks Fifth Avenue is offering this Juicy Couture version for $220. Trimmed with tassels and paired with a Juicy Couture camouflage tee, it's the perfect Hamptons weekend getaway outfit!
