A collarless jacket can turn even the most daring cocktail dress into a fit-for-the-office masterpiece. When Chloe showed off a collarless jacket as part of Pre-Fall 2009, we nearly fell off of our swivel chair in excitement. Here is a retro silhouette that is way cute. These little collarless jackets whisper Rachel Bilson and Zooey Deschanel. The unfussy neckline allows what's underneath to shine through. It also ads an element of structure to a look. I like a bright colored tunic top layered underneath the grey or black ones. Or, be bold, and layer it underneath the happy winter yellow one.
