The crème de la crème are showing up for Paris couture shows and that includes Keira Knightley at Chanel. Stay tuned for the glorious garb, but here's the Chanel devotee — with freshly blunted bangs — in a slim tweed skirt with red velvet trim, a sheer black top with brass buttons, and stacked black platform pumps. Not too long ago I noticed leather trim was popular. A few weeks later and I've noticed an explosion of contrasting trim in all shapes and colors. I guess plain isn't game anymore. This is certainly a way to stand out. I'm tempted to get a couple fun trimmed cardigans to add to my collection — the contrast provides an extra bit of pop. Any excuse to buy more cardigans, right?
I'm a bit biased about Corey Lynn Calter dresses. I think they're extremely modern. Can you believe that this adorable Corey Lynn Calter Shae Dress is only $87 (originally $174)? That's quite a deal. The black and white rose print is part girlie, part rough, and the keyhole creates balance to the busy print. I know the hemline looks really short, but remember that the model is 5'10. Throw it on over your bathing suit or wear it to a beach party.
Gabrielle Union's genuine smile makes me happy. The actress touched down in NYC and headed to her hotel looking absolutely gorgeous in a Corey Lynn Calter rose-print dress. I wonder where she's headed to after she checks in? She highlighted the streamlined dress with delicate silver hoop earrings, a pair of patent sandals, and a black leather shoulder bag. Seeing as I'm a sucker for sensational sunnies, you know I'm crushing on hers!
