Is there anything more satisfying than throwing on the most comfortable t-shirt in the world? Better yet, one that's basic enough to be considered as such, but has enough detailing to make it a touch fashion minded? Julie Park's collection JPark aims for the latter, with a collection of carefree separates, retailing from $75-$275. There is no reinvention of the wheel, but everything is tweaked and tailored enough to be special, like a cotton tank that's accentuated by a draped back and bow or a t-shirt dress with a chic, little drawstring. The Spring collection is made of mostly linen and cotton, meaning Summer days can be spent feeling breezy and cool. It's available now, so you can shop the pieces if you're inspired.
Is it just us or are the cotton basics that cost more worth the extra money--for all of the Urban Outfitters tank tops and American Apparel t-shirts we own, we wear our Daftbird, Clu, and Splendid pieces more than twice as often. In our opinion, we think it's worth it to invest in high-quality cotton basics that will wear beautifully over time. This morning, when we scoped out Clu's newest delivery on La Garconne we realized that they would also be a great midseason strategy. Just peel off the layers and you're ready for Spring.
