The ever so radiant Joy Bryant portrayed a modern-day glamazon at the premiere of Welcome Home Roscoe Jenkins in Hollywood last night. The crisp white hue, the slightly off-shoulder detail, and her metallic accessories make this look worth mimicking. Since floor-length gowns aren't practical, I provided a shorter and more wearable option. Oh Joy!
This year is the 40th anniversary of the Summer of Love. A time of youthquake, denim, free love and exploration; a time of American history. I have been noticing peace symbols on clothing and accessories lately, and while it may be temporary, I believe the idea of love, peace and happiness is always in Vogue. These KORS Michael Kors Danbury patent loafers, $165, were a recent purchase of mine and I can see myself wearing them for years and years, thus sprinkling a bit of peace, love and happiness wherever I may go.
On Monday we introduced you to jewelry designer Anna Beck. She makes gorgeous dimpled jewelry, like these Armadillo Open Disk Earrings, $165-$270. Her creations are delicate, simple and oh-so-wearable. Too bad they're a tad expensive.
