We're stocking up on Summer dresses, the kind we can wear as easily to the office as we can on vacation. We spied this denim A-line shirtdress ($56, originally $93), and thought how perfectly it fit our requirements — and our budget. Besides the fact that we always love a LWD for Summer, we're also smitten with the easy silhouette to play up with a pair of girlie wedges, or down with strappy, flat sandals.
Thanks to Halle Berry, We're Obsessed With Fuchsia Dresses
Halle Berry is the queen of bold simplicity. She always goes for a figure-hugging dress. She always keeps her accessories simple. She always has her hair and makeup the same way. And she always, always, kills it on the red carpet. Case in point: we cannot stop staring at her in this fuchsia Roberto Cavalli dress. The color pops on her, and even though it's a simple silhouette, it is eye-catching. With all our weddings to attend and Summer plans in gear, we're thinking a fuchsia dress might give our wardrobe a much-needed pop of gorgeous, sexy color. Banana Republic's Signature Dress Collection Hits Stores
If your Summer calendar looks like ours, it might have a few weddings, reunions, and weekend getaways filling those precious Summer months, which can result in the perpetual I-need-a-dress stress. Banana Republic is hoping to alleviate the stress with a Summer dress collection retailing for under $300. Filled with a mix of dramatic maxi dresses, colorful cocktail dresses, and breezy frocks, the collection aims to be a go-to for every event we have. Side note: we can't help but think they're dipping their pinky toe into the bridal market with the silk starburst dress ($165), which comes in four pretty colors and looks like the ultimate bridesmaid's dress. Halle Berry's Dazzling Dress — and Figure — From All Angles
We continue to be completely in awe — and a little jealous — of Halle Berry's ability to look stunningly gorgeous year after year without ever aging a bit. The latest case in point came when Halle chose a Rachel Roy blue dress for Muhammad Ali's Celebrity Fight Night event. The form-fitting dress hugged her perfect curves, well, perfectly, and she showed her usual less-is-more beauty approach with a smoky eye and neutral makeup. Her accessories were kept to sparkly hoop earrings, a cool silver hoop, and a ring on her pinky finger. Check out our slideshow to see more of Halle's look.
Chanel's Fringed Spring Dress: Who Wore It Better?
Arlenis Sosa gave Chanel's fringed Spring confection a sultry spin in her steamy editorial for Vogue Spain, and just two days ago, Emma Roberts sported the same dress in a cute way for the Chanel show in Paris. Which look do you prefer?

Trend Alert: The Demure LBD
Catch a glimpse of Zoe Saldana, and it's not hard to see why we're loving the demure LBD. The look is totally in tune with the ladylike craze but with a sexier body-con fit. The longer hemline leaves a little more to the imagination, while a sleek silhouette hugs in all the right places. It's a demure alternative but hardly a diminutive style statement.
Quiksilver's Shirt Dress Is Cool Now, Cooler Later
We're in the midst of the Summer-to-Fall transition. To make it easier, I'd suggest a dress just like this Quiksilver Lost and Found Dress ($39, originally $78). The sweet gingham print isn't Summer-exclusive — in fact, I almost prefer the look with socks or tights and a Fab pair of your favorite booties or clogs. It's perfect transitional dressing, perfectly priced for the taking.

Online Sale Alert: Summer Dress Steals at Anthro
Fall's on its way in, which means Summer's on its way out. I'm sad to see it go, but there's a consolation prize: End of Summer sales! The best part is snagging Summer steals like this Port Dauphine Dress ($70, originally $138) at Anthropologie's sale. Even if Summer is fading, this will look just as chic with a denim jacket in September. If maxis aren't your thing, shop the shorter variety and transition to Fall with tights — either way, you've got a sweet deal.
White Hot: 15 Fab LWDs You Need Now!

The Look For Less: Coity Chambray Minidress
Even with Fall goods hitting stores, I'm all about capitalizing on the sunshine while we have it. This season, you can't have enough leg-baring minidresses or denim — so when the two meet, it's a must purchase. That's what I thought when I spied this Coity Chambray Minidress ($131, originally $328), but a triple-digit price tag makes this a must have I'll have to find elsewhere.
