When a dinner is hosted to honor one of the most relevant English designers working today, you just know the fashion is going to be good. Michelle Dockery, Camilla Belle, Jessica Paré, and Emily Browning were all spotted at Chateau Marmont to celebrate Erdem — each debuting their own take on cocktail attire. We're talking sexy black numbers, feminine floral designs, and sleek long-sleeved frocks. And that's not even touching the accessories! If you can believe it, London Fashion Week is almost coming to a close, and we're breaking down some of the best looks from the catwalks in the UK. While there were plenty of understated looks — Erdem, Christopher Kane, and Matthew Williamson got on board — there were plenty of out-there beauty looks, including gothic face paint, antennae buns, and 3D nail art. Plus, Cara Delevingne made her return to the runway in London, showing off the wet-shine look at Mulberry and dusty rose shadow at Burberry.

Of course there were flowers at Erdem's Spring 2014 runway show — we wouldn't have it any other way from the lovely label! But among the lace bouquet laid many stunning surprises.
Expanding on last season's edgier collection, Erdem Moralioglu infused his latest designs with downtown cool (think: moto jackets, exposed zippers, and leather). The mostly black-and-white palette included playfully eclectic looks like one that tempered a preppy sweater vest with tough platform sandals and an evening-ready ostrich feather skirt. The result was certainly no garden party, and still we found ourselves tempted to play in this garden of earthly delights.
The Outnet has just launched an Erdem boutique featuring some pieces from its Fall 2012 line, with many of the garments patterned in bold florals. Among the pieces on offer? A white sundress adorned with purple and pink blooms, a pair of shorts perfect for those balmy Summer days, and a trench coat whose painterly flowers inspire notions of abstract expressionism. And the best part? The prices are slashed up to 65 percent. Look for the collection online, but until then, here's a look at our favorite pieces on sale.
We have a unique opportunity to snag one of Erdem's gorgeous archival prints, thanks to the designer's exclusive capsule collection for MatchesFashion.com. The newly launched, six-piece collaboration is a dressed-down version of Erdem Moralioglu's famous florals.
In revisiting the archives, Moralioglu told Matches: "I looked at [Fall 2009, Spring 2009] and also found a print that was never used from a Spring collection. I reprinted them on fabrics that I hadn't used before, such as stretch cotton for the trousers and cotton poplin for the tops with sweet little white collars. The original garments were cut in silk satin or washed silk crepes."
If his runway collections are usually for the red carpet set, this lineup is for the everyday sophisticate, meant to be mixed and matched with denim and your favorite white button-down. In every outfit you create with them, they'll undoubtedly be the standouts — just click on to shop the limited-edition pieces.
Thanks to their black, sheer, and lacy gowns, this style set may have just had some of the sultriest looks to hit the Met Gala staircase. Joan Smalls perfected her supermodel smolder in a body-conscious embroidered Tom Ford gown — proof that covered up doesn't have to be conservative. Alexa Chung embraced the Gala's subversive theme and channeled her sexier side with a sheer-inset Erdem look, as did Allison Williams, who delivered a more provocative look than we're used to, wearing a black Altuzarra gown. Adding to the list of attendees who ditched their usual "good girl" persona, Anne Hathaway showed off a dramatic vintage Valentino gown, made all the more striking with see-through fabric and a high-shine finish. Now it's time to weigh in — which of the starlets' sheer gowns gets your vote?

Lena Dunham brought her A-game to celebrate the Met Gala's Punk: Chaos to Couture exhibit in NYC tonight. She wore a custom Erdem dress and shoes and was joined by designer Erdem Moralioglu for the fashionable evening. Lena's night out came during a break from filming for the third season of Girls. Her costar Allison Williams also got away from the cameras for the bash. The red carpet fashion and beauty is still coming, so make sure to vote on your favorite Met Gala looks!
