Life is nothing without friends. I recently heard about an awesome DIY spot in San Francisco: Workshop. The genesis of a self-proclaimed DIY-er, Workshop houses a ton of fun classes — complete with a rad DJ and free beer — for the cool and crafty. Soon, it will be hosting an amazing screen printing party, and you know I'll be there with my blank canvases. Since paint (and beer) are involved, it might get a tad messy. Can you help me piece together a fun 'fit?

Style Bandit concurs — DIYs are so fun. What a stud she is in her DIY jeans, inspired by a pair of stud-pocket jeans model Hanneli Mustaparta wore at Paris Fashion Week. Style Bandit basically took a pair of lightwash jeans, tore open one of the pockets, and adorned the inside with silver studs. Jean-ius!

Artists, there is a new canvas for your work: a bra! For $15, get a crisp white Doodle Bra (30 AA to 42 DD), six non-toxic markers, and start drawing to your heart's desire. The markers are washable so you can design over and over again. There are also three stencils in each pack and an idea booklet. The company's purpose is to empower young girls to be comfortable with their sexuality while still having fun. What do you make of all of this — freaky or fabulous?
Currently, I'm in love with shoe chains, but I'm not in love with paying an exorbitant amount for them. So what to do? DIY them, of course! It all came together in a matter of a day — I kid you not. I set out on a hunt for the perfect chain bracelets in the afternoon, found them an hour later, and transformed them into shoe chains that night. OK, it sounds easier than it was, but luckily, I paved the way for you to follow on a relatively bump-free path . . .
