From the basic hang down to the gypsy bun, in this newest how-to we took one of Spring's most iconic accessories — the bright, bold scarf — and created 10 lasting looks to take a tee and jeans from plain and simple to extraordinarily chic. Watch our video to see all the fun you can have with just one scarf! Music by Dragonette.
Life is nothing without friends. It might sound like an over-dramatized statement, but who would we be if we didn't have a buddy to play with in elementary school, a loyal friend to help us go through those (annoying) growing pains in middle school, a BFF to hang with all throughout high school, and a college gal pal to talk you through boy troubles? Hopefully, some of these friendships have withstood the test of time, and with National Friendship Day around the corner (Monday, Aug. 8), we suggest you surprise your nearest and dearest with the ultimate offering: a friendship bracelet. Instead of buying one at a cutesy boutique, we suggest you DIY your own version and make it extra special.
Earrings usually come in a pair. Like, two peas in a pod, two wheels on a bike, two fabulous shoes . . . a double rainbow! PartySugar lost an earring back on her way to work this morning and we discussed her sporting the one earring style — totally acceptable, especially with double piercings. Then I spotted these Wendy Nichol Mix & Match Studs ($210) and thought to myself: I have so many cool studs, why not just mix and match my own? Studs are the safest place to begin this DIY, the bigger you go, the more glances you'll get. That is up to you. Shall we give it a whirl?
Those '80s shoulder tops are back! This look can be fun, fresh, and flattering. So I've decided to make a DIY about this cute style; why buy one when you can make your own off-shoulder tops with your old t-shirts? Just follow these easy steps!
Fab is always up for a challenge. Now that our Paint It Black series is over, we bring you our latest adventure: Two scarves, 50 ways. You may be skeptical; is it possible to tie a scarf in 50 ways? Anything's possible — one of our mottos. There are a ton of classic styles, which we included, but Fab also thought creatively. From hair accessory to jewelry, belt to blanket, dress to pillow, we welcome you to scarf city.
I recently heard about an awesome DIY spot in San Francisco: Workshop. The genesis of a self-proclaimed DIY-er, Workshop houses a ton of fun classes — complete with a rad DJ and free beer — for the cool and crafty. Soon, it will be hosting an amazing screen printing party, and you know I'll be there with my blank canvases. Since paint (and beer) are involved, it might get a tad messy. Can you help me piece together a fun 'fit?
I plan on pulling my hair back for maximum functionality, so I'll show off my lobes with these Alexis Bittar Neon Pyramid Earrings ($95); so artsy and abstract.
Let's go Fab Finding. Be sure to come back and tell me your Fab Finds are up, or just tag your Fab Finds with Screen Printing Party. Now, you can build outfits by creating your very own widget of clothing items. We have everything you need to build outfits, and you can use your Fab Find bookmarks, too. This is an even better way to put together an entire outfit when completing your Fab Finding missions. Learn what a Fab Find is and how to make one. And here's a detailed explanation of bookmarks from GeekSugar.

You guys never cease to amaze me with your creative photo ops. vikandala took a break from washing and drying to show us her outfit. Her tie-dye DIY is insanely fresh and I adore the suspenders. Who'd ever thought doing dirty laundry could be so much fun?
Here's what she has on:
Suspenders: Hot Topic
Congrats to vikandala!
Style Bandit concurs — DIYs are so fun. What a stud she is in her DIY jeans, inspired by a pair of stud-pocket jeans model Hanneli Mustaparta wore at Paris Fashion Week. Style Bandit basically took a pair of lightwash jeans, tore open one of the pockets, and adorned the inside with silver studs. Jean-ius!
Here's what she's wearing:
Jeans: Forever 21
Top: American Apparel
Congrats to Style Bandit!
Everyone else, submit your looks and I might feature you on FabSugar!
Artists, there is a new canvas for your work: a bra! For $15, get a crisp white Doodle Bra (30 AA to 42 DD), six non-toxic markers, and start drawing to your heart's desire. The markers are washable so you can design over and over again. There are also three stencils in each pack and an idea booklet. The company's purpose is to empower young girls to be comfortable with their sexuality while still having fun. What do you make of all of this — freaky or fabulous?
Currently, I'm in love with shoe chains, but I'm not in love with paying an exorbitant amount for them. So what to do? DIY them, of course! It all came together in a matter of a day — I kid you not. I set out on a hunt for the perfect chain bracelets in the afternoon, found them an hour later, and transformed them into shoe chains that night. OK, it sounds easier than it was, but luckily, I paved the way for you to follow on a relatively bump-free path . . .
