We're just going to come out and admit it: we're completely envious of Victoria Beckham's wide-leg denim collection. Her easy-cool styling could make converts out of even skinny-leg devotees. That's because it's easy to channel the same leggy effect, thanks to the ultraflattering fit of flared denim (read: it highlights your waist and balances out curves with its flared hemline). So far, Victoria has shown off a light-wash pair with braided detailing at the waist, a classic dark wash, and just about everything in between. Head inside to see Victoria's best wide-leg denim moments — then shop your favorites.
Ashlee Simpson touched down at LAX airport pairing a printed Blood is the New Black tank ($29) with flared denim, a printed kimono wrap, and wicker Hat Attack topper ($88). The singer accessorized her boho-chic look with a quilted leather tote, simple flip-flops, and her Ray-Ban Wayfarer shades ($150). This isn't the first time we've spotted the blond beauty wearing a printed kimono, but her ever-changing style definitely keeps us wanting more. Shop Ashlee's exact tank and hat to work with '70s denim and a fresh kimono wrap for your next trip out of town.
We love our denim skinnies just as much as any other girl, but Fall's flared jeans trend is calling our name. The flattering silhouette has been sprouting up everywhere on the runways — from designers like Derek Lam and Adam Lippes — to the streets, as seen on celebrities like Katie Holmes and Zoe Saldana, reminding us of the sweet '70s and the cool clothes that come with it. Whether you decide to go casual a la Katie with a tee and cardi combo, or opt for a more bohemian look like Zoe in her MiH jeans, there are key styling tips to getting this look just so. First tip: always pair your flares with heels for maximum legginess; we especially love them with chunky heels. Shop our favorite flared jeans and the styling tips that come with it in the slideshow.
This season, the sexiest pair of jeans you'll own is the flare leg. Need proof? Just check out a couple of Fashion Week's chic street-stylers and a few of our favorite celebs — Olivia Palermo, Heidi Klum, and Rachel Zoe — all rocking their respective versions of the flare. It's a little more '70s rocker than the wide-leg, and we love how it hugs in all the right places. For now, play up the retro vibe with a shaggy fur topper, or play it down with something sleeker; then, when warmer weather hits they'll look just as cool with a floral tank or a boho top like Heidi's.From left to right: street style, Olivia Palermo, Heidi Klum, Rachel Zoe, street style

The Resort collections opened up a new world of doors for wide-legged pants. They've taken a backseat to the popular skinny leg for the past couple seasons, but the bell-bottomed '70s are back with a vengeance. As exemplified by Angela Missoni's Resort collection (left), mixing crisp, flared trousers with a funky top will lend you instant party chic. Groovy, baby.
A Starbucks-drinking Kelly Ripa walked the streets of Manhattan carrying a shopping bag from the Paul Labrecque Salon and Spa, her coat, and a cool green patent Marni bag. And is that a black halter bikini top I see underneath her trapeze blouse? Love it! Her flared jeans round out the clean look by adding youthfulness.
Dolce is looking perfectly polished for a day out running wedding errands for her best friend. Her jacket is filled with checkered fun and I like how the dark flared jeans are contrasted against the bright white shoes.

The Look — Flared Jeans
Stars are ringing in spring wearing classic bellbottom jeans. "Many versions of the flare jean have been seen over the past 40 years," say designers Jenna Andreola and David Lonstein of Anlo. "The flare remains the most universal fit and is a flattering style for almost every body type."
