The stark white offsets her tan (and extended long locks) beautifully, and her understated accessories tie it all together. It's a nice change for Lauren without getting too dramatic, wouldn't you agree?
Kelly Ripa managed to look as adorable as she did polished for an appearance on David Letterman yesterday. Her Marc by Marc Jacobs dress is classic in silhouette but has quirky detailing taking this look to the next level. The asymmetrical pleated sheer fan and pockets provide enough interest to go low key on the accessories, so Kelly kept it clean with a demure 'do, simple stud earrings, and black pumps. I'm of the party that finds the navy and black combination trés chic so this is perfection to me.
Ally Hilfiger was looking free spirited and glamorous in a simple purple Chloe tank dress at a Jade Jagger-hosted launch party last night. She made the piece very much her own with layered hippie necklaces, sky-high gold gladiators, and a contrasting burgundy clutch. She works the jewel tone perfectly with her raven black hair and sun-kissed skin. Back to bohemia!
Kate's really been stepping up her game lately, channeling a sort of rocker edge for her 21 press and a just quirky enough ladylike look in her off time. Her outing in the Hollywood sunshine was no exception, and she was looking adorably retro in this Lauren Moffatt striped minidress. Sometimes knockoffs are so subtle, they're barely identifiable. But nothing goes unnoticed in my eyes, not even this simple Diane von Furstenberg Benten Dress, on sale for $195 (originally $325). True, it's on sale, but it's still pricey for such a design-less frock.
