With 2011 almost upon us, it's hard not to think about the future. At Fab, that means thinking about what we're going to be wearing. We love us some Princess Leia; with her sleek, white dress and sculptural jewelry, she totally predicted that we would be obsessed with futuristic shapes. They're sleek, edgy, and totally modern. Celebrity Style: Camila Alves
Model and girlfriend of Matthew McConaughey, Camila Alves, attended the Academy of Country Music Awards in an ensemble that's fabulously futuristic. The short hemline is sexy, while the high collar gives her an avant-garde edge. The white ankle-strap sandals are the perfect choice; they feed into the crisp theme while her gold clutch reels in some shine.

This Week's Fab Favorite: Reese Witherspoon
Femmebot Reese reporting for duty. It's not often a celebrity embraces the theme of the movie at a premiere. That is why we love femmebot Reese. Last Sunday (also her birthday) she proudly wore a green and silver Rodarte Fall '09 dress to the LA premiere of Monsters vs. Aliens. She furthered the futuristic theme with yellow and gray Balenciaga pumps. Convinces me Reese could serve it up in a Barbarella remake! There's not much else going on, which is the way to go, except sex kitten hair. Beam me up, Reese.

These fashionistas somehow foresaw women of the millennium donning skanky see-through dresses, accessorized with body temperature regulating belts — for our ever-frequent hot flashes, I presume?
