The food and drink menu has been set, now all I need is a fabulous outfit to wear to my upcoming Bedazzle Bonanza party. Being one of the hostesses, I must dress to impress. I need something colorful, lively, and sparkly. Won't you be my personal stylist?

Looking at glamabie24 makes me yearn for a vacay in an exotic locale. The Aztec cutie took a cue from Spring's Luxotica trend and wore a breezy leaf print frock with a pair of strappy gladiator sandals. To add glam, she accessorized with oversize sunnies and a cool head wrap. Superb.

The daring magda_ooo was feeling psychedelic. If you're going to go groovy, go all the way. I love how she accessorized her swirly maxi dress with a hippie headband. You can't see them, but she has on gladiators to finish off her hippie-inspired look.

Click it or ticket has been a national slogan for safer driving for some time. But the way we seemed to be obsessed with buckling up in the fashion business you could be forgiven for thinking retailers underwrote the campaign. As community member Shoeblog points out, ornate buckled sandals are a favorite of New York City women this summer and Bill Cunningham has the photos to prove it. The trouble is that these buckled shoes, with or without heels, have made the rounds for so long that even our favorites like Dolce Vita are now on sale and every copy cat on the block from Steve Madden to Guess has shipped a facsimile to market. So while everyone else is saying one two buckle my shoe we are sorely tempted to say three four shut the door on this trend. And if you really want a nice buckled shoe? Can we suggest these Manolo Blahnik Buckle Anklestraps? We will just leave you with a variety of choices below and you can do whatever feels right.
As fabulous as they are, I never said celebrities don't sometimes wear the silliest trends. The gladiator tuck is a questionable one. Here, some starry eyed youngins are sporting their skinnies tucked into their gladiator sandals. Sienna Miller was actually spotted wearing this style in 2005 and it's obvious as to why it hasn't caught on that quickly. I'm on the fence; I like the look with gladiator heels better, at least it elongates. I suggest sticking with dark colors — dark denims and brown and black glads. But if you're young, bold and funky, tuck yourself right in.
