Inspired: Claudia Schiffer's Ivory and Bronze

Claudia Schiffer arrived at the British Fashion Awards at The Savoy in London last night decked out in an ivory dress that featured a shimmery, draped overlay in a golden bronze.

Claudia Schiffer arrived at the British Fashion Awards at The Savoy in London last night decked out in an ivory dress that featured a shimmery, draped overlay in a golden bronze. I love the way these two colors play off each other, creating a rich, regal look, and was inspired to find this color combination in the home decor world as well. There are plenty of pieces that utilize these two colors in a single design, such as the Damask Placemat ($17) from Modern Twist. Or create the palette yourself by combining a white sofa, such as the Williams-Sonoma Beverly Sofa ($3,200 and up) with some golden-bronze pillows. Now, You Can Get a Golden Tattoo

Have money to burn?

Have money to burn? Do you love gold? Then you might just want to hit up the luxe Burj Al Arab hotel in Dubai, where you can get a tattoo made of real 24-carat gold. But here's the catch: this pricey ink is only temporary.

The Precious Skin tats ($50 to $5,500) are comprised of gold or platinum leaf and were originally developed by Japanese designer Nobuhiko Akatsuka several years back (see his work here). With the recent launch of these luxury temporary tattoos in Dubai, along with plans to extend into more Middle Eastern outlets in the near future, I have a feeling this won't be the last we see of these body art-meets-jewelry accessories. Would you consider getting gilded yourself?

Trend Alert: Soft Gold Eye Shadow

Just in time for the holidays, celebrities are showing up in gold shimmer shadow.

Just in time for the holidays, celebrities are showing up in gold shimmer shadow. But unlike the chunky gold glitter and foiled metallic looks from years past, in the past few days, stars like Selita Ebanks, Keri Hilson, and Emma Roberts have been using soft, shimmering gold on the inner corners of their eyes, usually paired with a darker fawn shadow for their lids. It's a combination that looks beautiful with brown eyes, but also brightens up blue and green peepers nicely. It's not in-your-face festive as eye makeup goes, but would you still like to give this look a try?

DIY This Plaid and Glam Dresser

While flipping through Skona Hem, I had to stop and take a much closer look at this glamorous bathroom.

While flipping through Skona Hem, I had to stop and take a much closer look at this glamorous bathroom. The entire space is absolutely spectacular, but my favorite element has to be the mod, plaid, golden-hued dresser against the wall. While you could spend thousands commissioning a custom piece similar to this one, you could also re-create the look with a simple DIY. Hear how to do it when you read more

Learn This All-That-Glitters-Is-Gold Manicure

Here's an excerpt of a post by OnSugar blog LesleyKat on getting a sparkly holiday manicure: May I present to you a holiday nail suggestion: glitter-tipped gold.

Here's an excerpt of a post by OnSugar blog LesleyKat on getting a sparkly holiday manicure:

May I present to you a holiday nail suggestion: glitter-tipped gold. To create this look, I used Sephora by OPI Charge It! ($9) as my base color. Two coats give a nice opaque, metallic finish. After letting them dry for a few minutes, I then applied a dab of clear (glitter polish would work well too) and dipped the tips of the nails right into the glitter. The glitter I used was LA Splash Lady Luck ($7). This glitter is especially cool because it has small glitter pieces as well as larger ones, and it reflects golds, pinks, and greens.

Look of the Day: Gold Rush

My eyes lit up – literally – when I saw this look from Fab reader v0naa.

My eyes lit up – literally – when I saw this look from Fab reader v0naa. Her sassy gold pleated skirt is giving me serious wardrobe envy! It's such a great statement piece, and I especially love the way she kept the rest of her ensemble simple. By styling it with a basic tee, a fitted blazer, black tights, and brogues, she kept the focus on her skirt and all its gilded glory. Her look definitely gave me the gold rush I needed today.

Congrats to v0naa!

Everyone else, submit your looks, and I might feature you on FabSugar!
