There's nothing like the motherly glow to steal the spotlight on a red carpet. Earlier tonight women strutted their mom stuff on their way into the 2011 Grammy Awards at the Staples Center in LA. From moms-to-be to mothers of three, which one do you think is dressed best?
It's a wonder that Beyonce had time to do anything else besides change her clothes at the Grammy Awards last night. We counted her in four different gowns throughout the course of the evening! She started off on the red carpet with an ivory satin cocktail dress, then changed in to a full length bronze beaded number for her performance in the show, then hit the press room in a floor length silver gown since metallics were the theme for the evening. Finally, she hit the after parties in a long sleeve full length black beaded gown. Which was your favorite?
Ay Karumba! Get a load of Pink at the Grammy Awards last night. Her bodacious bod was gorgeously slim and toned, her dress was both classy and sexy and her hair was styled in true punk rock fashion.
Yet what really stood out to me was her girly and perfectly balanced makeup. The dark, sultry eyes offset by her flawless skin and pretty pink (no pun intended) lips was a surprising look from this alternative chick.

The ladies really shined last night on the Grammys red carpet adorning gold whenever and wherever possible. Some took the gold accent trend a little too far but others just nailed it. Jennifer Hudson is proving to be quite the red carpet diva this award season and showed that just a few gold touches here and there was the way to go. Natalie Maines on the other hand, you took the gold trend to a whole other level! Less is more sister, and Nelly, that holds true for you too. I had a feeling that since it was the Grammys we would be treated to some over the top fashions and I was right! The first trend I noticed off the bat was glitterati. Everyone was sparkling! We all know metallics are a huge trend and it is so very red carpet worthy. Petra Nemcova looked like a femme bot in her silver metallic mini dress while Paula Abdul chose a sequin-paneled gown by Valentino. I rather liked Hilary Duff's gold and black Dolce & Gabbana sequined slip dress that most of you hated!
