If you find yourself in a financial position to invest in some contemporary and designer goods, then now is the time--Net-a-Porter just launched into their Fall sale and, above, our picks of the best items from the markdown. I spy six of Nina Garcia's One Hundred here: exotic skin bag, sandals, men's white shirt, Minnetonka moccasins, BlackBerry, and jeans. And, I agree that all of the above are Fab and necessary. But the key pieces here are the white shirts and jeans. All three of these stars have different styles and approaches. Beyonce is the posh jetsetter, Katie is the chic theatric, and Nicole is the downtown gamine. These are pieces you already have in your closet, in multiples no doubt, but how will you spice yours up? The possibilities are endless . . .
Dance the night away in some high heel hotness. This week's Fab finds were all about sky high beauties in a yummy variety of cuts and colors. Time to party!
Some trends never die. I pooh poohed rosettes over a year ago, however, I'm starting to think it was just Angela from Project Runway's fault that I tired of them early (those darn rosettes junkies ruin it for everyone). Or maybe it's just that Spring's floral trend has completely enveloped me and I love anything bloom related. If you're feeling the bloom love as much as I you may want to try 3D buds. Anne Hathaway dazzled in Marchesa ones at the Oscars as did Renee Zellweger, staring us down in them. OK, so it works on the red carpet, but does the 3D effect work for the everyday? The saga continues.
The band rocks, and so do these accessories. The block party has been going strong for about a year now — something about warm weather and color blocking really clicks. I enjoy colorblocking an outfit with individual pieces, creating my own creative color combo. The trend has trickled into shoes, bags and jewelry, so keep partying . . .
I don't know about you, but I'm still honoring my New Year's Fabalutions — yay me! Don't believe me? Fabalution #4: See my Look Book. I know we're barely into the new year, but hey, we need all the encouragement we can get right? What's further inspiring is all the Crayola-colored accessories out there. As seen in this week's Life&Style, this is the best way to add some punch to your Winter wardrobe. Who says you can't wear tangerine or lime when there's a blizzard outside? Not I.
To ease the loss of her inheritance, Paris went shopping while on vacation in Hawaii in a Fab black and white geometric dress. I can't promote all her white accessories, though, so I switched out the clutch for something metallic and her heels for something sleek. Nothing like some good 'ol retail therapy.
I'm beginning to feel like my plain old shoes are, well, plain. After checking out twinkle toes and 24/7 flats, we know have the option of rosey toes. I'm on the fence; I've always had a love/hate relationship with rosettes and it seems they are blossoming yet again. They were all the rage last Winter and when I take a look at the suspects below, I have to say: I love some of them and hate some of them. Do they have you feeling rosey?
