Suri Cruise was decked out in a princess dress to trick-or-treat with mom Katie Holmes in LA yesterday. The duo met up with friends for a Halloween party earlier in the day, when Suri wore a dancer's dress — she's among the many celebrity kids who love dressing up for the holiday. Tom Cruise couldn't accompany his girls, since he's still working on Mission: Impossible 4 overseas. He had plenty of excitement, though, while filming stunts Saturday in Dubai. He dangled over the Burj Kahlifa, which at over a half mile high is the world's tallest building. In a recent video message from the Middle East, Tom said he's excited to work in "the incredibly cinematic" city.

The Today Show crew got into the holiday spirit on their annual Halloween episode this morning with help from Tina Fey and Will Ferrell, who were decked out as their characters in Megamind. Hosts Meredith Vieira and Natalie Morales both took the singing star approach as Lady Gaga and Justin Bieber, respectively, even going the extra mile with choreographed performances. Al Roker, meanwhile, was Superman, and Ann Curry channeled Amelia Earhart. While my daughter's costume is a little lost in translation due to it being too hot for her to wear the hat and tights (which really made her costume), she's still the sweetest cupcake I've ever seen. Plus, who doesn't love a tutu?!

Suri Cruise showed off the latest addition to her high-heel collection while out shopping with Katie Holmes this morning. The girls were back to their usual adventures after a fun weekend together of visiting Tom on set and picking pumpkins at a patch. Their family got a head start on their decorating for Halloween, and apparently Suri couldn't wait to get in her costume! She showed off her newest princess outfit later in the afternoon, while she and Katie stopped to see Tom during his break from work on Knight and Day.
