In my how-to on organizing your hangers, I talked a lot about choosing the right type of hangers for your wardrobe. But in guest rooms or coat closets, or when you're using apparel as home décor, sometimes aesthetics take priority over clips, clamps, and rubber grips. These dreamy Children's Wooden Hangers (on sale for $11) are detailed with darling fairy tale scenes of dancing dogs, bear, rabbits and chicks in Victorian clothes (I dare you to find a 4-year-old who doesn't love that idea!). If you're not ready to mix these delicate hangers with the rest of the closet, consider using them for your child's dress up or doll clothes.

Mommy Dearest would surely have a thing or two to say about these plastic hangers, but I happen to think they are adorable. Adding a peep of flair to your tot's closet, the orange and green organizers ($16 for the pair) may even encourage your youngster to hang up her threads when they're clean and pressed.
