I'm hesitant to diss Katie Holmes' style because I am of the camp that thinks her fashion sense has grown leaps and bounds post Tom Cruise. That said, simply put, she sometimes dresses too old for her age.

We get it, she has an older man to keep up with, but that doesn't mean she has to dress his age. Here she's wearing something a Glam Ma would wear on Christmas morning. I appreciate the color scheme but I would have worn a shorter satin trench (belted!), a V-neck top, black patent pumps, and perhaps a black belt. Besides, it's way too cold for her long, skinny toes to be creeping out.

Who is this matron and what has she done with the sassy Mischa Barton? I've always known that Mischa is capable of making fashion faux pas, but this is pure insanity! At the Closing the Ring UK premiere, it appears the actress is having an identity crisis.

The only thing I applaud Mischa for are her studded, Louboutin Mary Janes. Other than that, I'd save the bow-tie blouse for a luncheon and the poofy black-taffeta skirt for a Halloween costume. She should have simply chosen a more age-appropriate dress. Perhaps she can take some pointers from her former O.C. co-star Rachel Bilson.

Wasn't it just a couple days ago when Lindsay Lohan was Celebrity Style-worthy? Now she's back to being too trendy and unflattering.

LL is committing many crimes of fashion here. First, I have a problem with her practically living in leggings. There's a time and place for them and it's not always! What's worse is the white sequined jacket; it's too gaudy. Sequins are good but only on a minimal basis. I'd ditch the jacket, leggings, and oversized cross, and throw on a classy pair of wide-leg jeans and a slick black and white coat. Is that too much to ask for?

Before this, I didn't know there were degrees of being matchy matchy. Kate Hudson took the concept to a whole new level at a recent D&G party. I know that grey is a prevalent color right now, but that doesn't mean you have to wear it head to toe, literally.

The top half of Kate's outfit is quite lovely. It's only when you look down that you cringe. The satin and suede combination kills the look, because as we Fabazons know, fabrics are of utmost importance. If I were Kate, I'd pair the jeweled neck blouse with a black mini skirt, bare legs, and a hot pair of pumps.

Feel me on this: it looks more like Tara Reid is hanging out in Aspen rather than shopping in LA with her boyfriend. This snow bunny outfit is not her best look.

If I were Tara's stylist, I'd first urge her to get rid of that mini denim skirt. I didn't even think people wore those anymore! Exception: surfer girls. She should have ditched those masculine snow boots and the necklace. The knit jacket and Louis Vuitton Damier tote are alright, but she should have instead paired them with tasteful dark jeans and a pair of simple flats. I guess it's safe to assume that Tara hasn't heard of the saying "less is more."

Though it pains me to see such a pretty girl like Hilary Duff dressed so messily, what bugs me more is that she's become such a slave to labels lately. Here, while out and about with her pup, she's sporting a Gucci poncho and that hideous Louis Vuitton Dentelle Speedy. When doing designer labels, I would stick to one per outfit. In Hilary's case, she should definitely get rid of the purse because it's downright tacky. The lesson learned here is that expensive doesn't always equal good. How would YOU wear it?

Orange is a hot color, but too much of anything can be overkill. Actress Leelee Sobieski has taken the concept of matching a bit too far. I don't mind individual pieces in her ensemble, but all together, it's a fashion editor's worst nightmare.

Leelee should have definitely left the orange tights for Halloween. There's still too much matching so I'd keep the jacket and skirt and wear a white blouse instead. Those jazz-inspired shoes are too old lady; I say ditch them for something more modern.

Based off of the show What NOT To Wear, I'm deeming this edition of How Would YOU Wear It? "How NOT To Wear Colored Tights."

I'm all for colorful tights but Paris killed her beautiful Nanette Lepore dress by pairing it with tacky pink tights. Was she trying to match with the pink carpet?

If I were Paris and standing next to my stylish sister (love the plaid and Chanel shoes, Nicky!), I would have burned those tights. Instead, I'd go bare-legged like little sis. The peep-toe pumps are a bit questionable as well, so I'd ditch those for something more festive.

I know I'm starting to sound like a broken record, but it still confuses me when people wear tights in hot weather. Exhibit A: Kate Beckinsale while Halloween shopping. This all-black look may have worked in the evening but it certainly doesn't fly on a sunny day in LA.

If I was Kate, I would have firstly ditched the knit beanie. Unless you're in snow, rain, or San Francisco, you don't need it. Next, I would have left behind the black tights. She has nice gams and should show them off. I would have also switched the suede boots for a pair of colored flats.

There wasn't a boy who didn't drool over actress Elisha Cuthbert when she starred in The Girl Next Door in 2004. But she just killed all her sex appeal with this ensemble. The leopard top isn't so bad, but those cropped cream pants remind me of something my unstylish grade-school teacher wore back in the day.

If I were Elisha out and about in LA, I'd first ditch the unflattering pants and wear a pair of slick stovepipe pants or dark denim. Only then would I carry that cream purse; in her current state, too much cream is tacky. I'd keep the top as it's on point with the latest leopard trend and the bow peep-toe heels as they're cute.
