The socialite-cum-designer worked it in a bodacious purple ruffled frock paired with a fantastic fringe clutch. Tinsley knows that fringe can sometimes overpower an outfit, so she chose a petite shape to show off just the right amount of swoosh. Smart and sassy.
Marion Cotillard continued to live up to her Parisian chic status at the London premiere of Public Enemies. The actress stepped onto the red carpet in a red satin strapless Vivienne Westwood dress that's all about the bustier bodice. Her accompanying black accessories — Stella McCartney clutch and ankle-strap platforms — pull in depth without distracting. The result? A look that's simple and complex at the same time.

My high school senior prom dress was Jessica McClintock. I am happy to announce that I still adore what I wore to prom; it was a strapless champagne mermaid gown, with a rhinestone border along the fold at the bustline. It may sound boring, but it was classic. Admittedly, I haven't purchased a piece of Jessica since, but I'm thinking this Jessica McClintock Beaded Soft Clutch ($68) would add character to a simple LBD. Thoughts?

Cross-body evening bags are perfect for those nonchalant evenings out on the town — or concerts! — and it's a fun way to make use out of your fancy little bags. I've already jumped on this utilitarian trend, will you do the same?
