Bag Jessica Alba's Crossbody Style For Just $158!

Over the weekend, Jessica Alba had a fresh Spring style moment on the sidewalks of LA in mint-green denim, a Paper Denim & Cloth knit sweater, floral slip-ons, and blue Italia Independent sunglasses — but it's her bag that we can't stop staring at (or talking about!).

While Jessica's outfit was great on its own, her IIIBeCa by Joy Gryson Duane Street nude crossbody ($158) added that bit of zing it needed to be fully polished. The best part (as if we needed to tell you) is that it rings in under $160! — And it comes in a variety of hues like blue, orange, bordeaux, and black. Score Jessica's exact crossbody now to throw on top of all your impending Spring looks — especially those on-trend pastels and florals.

A Complete Look at the Gryson Fall 2011 Collection; Plus, Details on Joy Gryson's New High-End Capsule Handbags

>> Last night at The James Hotel's rooftop bar The Jimmy, Joy Gryson previewed her Fall 2011 Gryson collection, which marks the designer's first time using sharkskin. The aim for the collection, Gryson says, was "to evoke a sense of soft and sensual mood, while still playing up to the expected edgy, downtown aesthetic." Hardware was designed "from natural elements like horn," and, Gryson adds, "I used a lot of earth tones for the color palette."

Gryson is also launching her new high-end handbag collection, Capsule by Joy Gryson, for Fall, which focuses on two different shapes — square with a removable chain strap or a rectangular clutch — that come in eight styles (think materials like stingray, astrakhan, python, and again with the sharkskin). “I wanted something for going to dinner,” the designer explained. “But none of that pristine stuffy stuff." A look at the Fall 2011 Gryson collection in the gallery.

Joy Gryson and MCM's Sizzling Hot Bags

Joy Gryson is one busy lady.

Joy Gryson is one busy lady. On top of designing a namesake collection of bags and shoes, a line for Target, and a super-cute cheaper collection called Oliva Harris — named after her daughter — Gryson has just accepted another designing endeavor with luxury brand MCM. “It’s wonderful that MCM has a long history, so it was important to look back into MCM’s archives and tap into their travel heritage and aesthetic, to revitalize it and offer a modern interpretation,” said Gryson.

The new line, dubbed MCM New York, is made of three groups — the Sportivo, Notte, and Giorno — each embellished with sleek chains and pleating made in snakeskin and python. Check out Coco Rocha showing off its blue and black confection in the ad campaign. Hot. The line ranges from $695 to $2,800 and will be available at Saks Fifth Avenue and the MCM Plaza boutique in NYC at the end of August.

>> While the "fashion Oscars" are a time for celebration, this year, many attendees had another recent event on their minds — the recently deceased Yves Saint Laurent. In tribute, Diane von Furstenberg wore vintage YSL, Naomi Campbell donned Fall 2008 Saint Laurent, and Ashley Olsen riffed on Le Smoking in her Calvin Klein suit.

As expected, models and designers turned out in droves — Erin Wasson, still in leg cast, was by Alexander Wang's side, and Francisco Costa celebrated his Womenswear win by hugging Eva Mendes tight.

Collab Mad: Joy Gryson Handbags For Target

In April of this year, Target will be releasing a line of faux-leather handbags designed by Joy Gryson.

In April of this year, Target will be releasing a line of faux-leather handbags designed by Joy Gryson. Gryson, who has designed for Coach and Marc Jacobs, had enough it-bag experience to catapult her own line, Gryson, into mass popularity. And everyone knows, once you become an 'it' designer, Target will come knocking on your door. The Gryson line for Target introduces the Bottega Veneta-like woven leather that Gryson uses in her own collections, in a sophisticated palate of hunter green, black, slate blue, and white.

On Our Radar: Gryson for Target

Introducing the newest addition to Target's cadre of GO International accessory pros: Joy Gryson.

Introducing the newest addition to Target's cadre of GO International accessory pros: Joy Gryson. A former accessories design director for both Marc Jacobs and Marc by Marc Jacobs, Gryson accessories are known for their brass hardware, ID tag embellishments, and steamlined shapes. The Gryson collection for Target will hit shelves in 2008. And in true GO International tradition, they're guaranteed to be a more affordable version of Gryson's best — I'll toast to that.
