When you're looking to add a hint of laid-back luxe to your look, nothing does the trick quite like a faux-fur vest, especially in black. Elle Macpherson and Nicky Hilton were both spotted strolling the streets — in London and LA, respectively — rocking woolly black vests over their layering pieces. They're a cozy, bohemian-chic addition to any casual ensemble. Ready to cozy up? Shop similar black faux fur vests below.
If you're into Kensiegirl's sweet and flirty apparel line, you'll be excited to hear they will be adding footwear to its portfolio come Fall. The brand has just inked a deal with popular shoemaker Camuto — the same maker of Vince Camuto, Jessica Simpson, and BCBGirls footwear — to create a fun and affordable collection of shoes that will follow the same aesthetic as its clothing line.
“Expanding into footwear is the natural next step for us to deepen our connection with the Kensiegirl consumer,” said Eric Karls, president of Kensiegirl. The line, ranging from $49 to $59, will make its first debut at department stores in October. The price is right and hopefully the styles will be, too!
Let's examine Kate Moss's version of business casual. On her way to a meeting with Phillip Green at the Topshop offices, the Super wore an all black ensemble consisting of a rad stitched dress, wool coat, and covetable pair of Balmain fringe boots. For accessories, Moss adorned herself with a black fringe scarf, funky ring, and diminutive diamond earrings. I like how her metallic bag adds that extra amount of sparkle.

We are obsessed, let me repeat, obsessed, with anything slick and black right now. If you already have your black liquid leggings or dare to wear leather pants, or neither of the above, consider this Kensie Metallic Trench Coat ($44, originally $148). It's so Matrix-like. You can slide it on over the most simple outfit and deliver serious verve. And at this price, if you accidentally forget it at your New Year's party (wink), no tears.
I grew up at Macy's. Not literally, of course, but I remember shopping there with my mum since before I can remember. Maybe being exposed to such a broad range of fashion is what started my love affair! Behold, there is a huge sale going on! Shoes, jewelry, lingerie, and lots of clothes are all marked down.
I honed in on this Kensie Puff-Sleeve Silk Embellished Tunic, $89 (originally $118), because it's so pretty and I'm already thinking of holiday-worthy dresses. I love the pleated empire waist, and the embellished neckline sets it apart from all the other tunics available out there.
Plenty of other great finds are there for the discovering, so check it out yourself!
