Proenza Schouler's Fall shoes are ready to devour. Your options are a rugged-cum-chic gray suede bootie and a heavy duty shearling-lined motorcycle boot. Take your pick . . . or get both.
Proenza Schouler's sunnies aren't due out until October/November, but one sneaky little pair — these Round Optic Sunglasses ($310) — has already debuted at La Garçonne. The boys grew bored of the Wayfarer look — "Something about the simplicity of that shape against the face turned us on." Does it turn you on?

We just happened upon La Garconne's recently-launched Pre-Fall 2009 look book and it actually has us excited for fall. The French-chic editorial pays homage to outerwear and Alexander Wang and features some items available for purchase and some presumably in the La Garconne pipeline. We're happy to see their colorless inventory illuminated with a well-styled editorial. Check out the look book below.
One month after its alleged launch date, the Erin Wasson for RVCA Spring 2009 collection is finally hitting the retail floor. We hear that the collection just landed on shelves at Opening Ceremony in New York, although the pieces are not on their just-launched e-commerce site yet. As for other e-commerce retailers, a source at La Garconne tell us that they've just received the goods and will be shooting them and putting them online within the next week or so.
A round of applause to La Garçonne for designing a t-shirt that is not only super fashionable but also dedicated to a good cause. For a mere $30, get this trés chic The La Garçonne Tee and simultaneously help young girls bring social and economic changes to their families and societies. Twenty-five percent of every tee purchased will be donated to The Girl Effect, a part of the Nike Foundation. Another way to get your hands on this tee is to spend $200 at La Garconne. That should be easy.
If styled correctly, a look book has worlds of inspiration to offer. La Garçonne, a stellar online retailer for fashion-forward pieces, has done its Autumn/Winter '08 more than just right. Look after look, it provides visual tips on how to wear your favorite Fall pieces. Knit dresses, wool coats, pleated pants, and denim shorts are just some of the outfits explored. As exemplified by this look, the look book teaches the art of layering. If an effortlessly cool look is what you seek, you've come to the right place.
Le City Kitty is a chic little fashion blog complete with an awesome soundtrack--today she reported on La Garconne's newest philanthropic offering.
Thoughts On Style the sweetest Tumblr blog we've ever seen. Earlier this month she broke down the concept behind Bergdorf Goodman's holiday windows.
We are loving the audacity of A.P.C who is taking summer's favorite preppy favorite, madras, and making it into a fall merchandising statement complete with autumnal colors and clever layering pieces.
When I checked out La Garconne's end of Summer sale, I expected to stock up on warm weather items. Surprisingly, the 30 to 70 percent off discount also includes a slew of Autumn-friendly items. Now that's a double whammy.
These Les Prairies De Paris L'Effronte Peep Toe ($195, originally $390) would look great with a pair of black trouser socks. Scrunched, of course, and paired with a skirt and long cardigan to get that sexy librarian look.
