Fur details are ideal Fall accents. On anything, they add just a hint of luxury and juxtapose perfectly against utility-style jackets, blazers, or any cozy cover, really. Kylie Minogue's faux fur-lined jacket is a great lesson in the kind of dressing I'm after. The full, fur-lining is just enough interest to play against a solid coat but not enough to distract from cool layers and a Fab pair of boots.
How does she do it? Maria Sharapova is a triple threat; she's beautiful, she's athletic, and she's stylish. Some girls get all the breaks. When Maria makes a cameo on Fab she does so with gusto. Her sequin shorts elevate her silky blazer and simple tee to glam rock status. That reminds me: I have a pair of black sequin shorts I need to bust out. However, Maria's bronze Phillip Lim shorts provide the perfect amount of pop. Bronze, black, or silver — it's game time.
There's this theory that sequins can be too flashy and thus trashy. If a glimmering Alexander McQueen head-to-toe bodysuit is freaky to you, secret sequins may strike your fancy. Kate Walsh donned Stella McCartney's nude tank with gray ombre jeans and she looks friggin' fantastic. And we weren't even there. I'd imagine the sparkles radiated in the Monte Carlo sun. Ever so subtly, though, that's the secret.
Clothed or bathed, Bar Refaeli is on my radar. Here she is posing in front of her dedicated Sports Illustrated jet wearing a poppin' patchwork leather jacket. I did some investigating and there's lots of cool patchwork prints right now. I prefer them with an exotic feel or a sci-fi edge, either would make the jet set happy.

Spotted: Victoria and little Cruz showing off their holiday spirit in LA. While the wee one rocked a festive Santa hat — Lil can break his outfit down to you — Victoria kept it posh in a hunter green suede dress. Though hard to come by, these sumptuous frocks are well worth the search. Word to the wise: Vintage shops are a cheap alternative to paying exuberant retail prices. I found my vintage suede Yves Saint Laurent dress at a local consignment store for only $30 dollars — score!

Serena van der Woodsen may look melancholy in this picture, but don't let her pensive pose fool you. In last night's episode of Gossip Girl, the new reigning queen of the Upper East Side showed her true colors and relished in her beauty with a new friend — leaving Blair in the dust.

Gossip Girl keeps getting better and better, and so do the girls' wardrobes!
Last night, Serena van der Woodsen took a traditional school girl ensemble and gave it a sassy twist with a sequined Nanette Lepore cardigan, over-the-knee tights a la Carrie Bradshaw, and a brown Botkier bag. Isn't it ironic that these ladies dress in school uniforms yet act like seasoned adults? That's why you gotta love Gossip Girl.
