Most of us know Liz Claiborne as the fashion legend, but what about the rest of her life? The answer is right here in Liz Claiborne: The Legend, The Woman ($17), a memoir written by Liz's husband and business partner, Art Ortenberg. The book details Liz and Art's professional success with the Liz Claiborne brand, along with personal tales of their philanthropic adventures, and Liz's fight with cancer. "Liz left us more than her work," said Art. "Perhaps more than the consequences of her work; she left us herself. The making of that self, and the good she did for others, is the story I tell." So inspiring!

Liz Claiborne creative director Isaac Mizrahi has taken his girls back to the streets. For Spring it was Georgina Stojiljković in the city; for Fall it's Coco Rocha in the country. The Canadian model looks so royal, so mature in her long pleated plaid skirt and plaid shirt. I'm especially taken by the vibrant autumnal hues. And look: Coco's super-red hair sort of matches the roofs of the houses. Equally dazzling in color is the shot of Coco in a grocery store (below). What do you make of Liz Claiborne's Fall ads? Trust me, if they had my size, I'd be all over it. What's not to love? The bold persimmon hue is mesmerizing, the paperbag neckline is different, and the pockets are functional. What's also great is that you can dress it up with heels and dress it down with flats.

To say that Isaac Mizrahi has revitalized Liz Claiborne would be an understatement. The majority of you loved his Spring ad, so you'll fall head over heels for his Spring Look Book, too. The first thing it did for me was make me want to play around with color in an urgent way. Also, it made me realize the designer has the unique ability to make preppy and prissy look youthful and cool. Spring is a more lively season thanks to Isaac!
