Have you ever been to a boutique opening party? They're so much fun. Meeting new people, rubbing elbows with local designers, and drinking free bubbly really tickles my fancy.

This weekend, my friend Jessica is throwing an opening party for her first boutique. It's going to be intimate and filled with special discounts — what more can a girl ask for? I asked you to help me find an outfit that will dazzle but won't steal the spotlight from my pal. I was looking for something artistic, funky, and modern. Let's see what you all came up with!

Almost anything can be upgraded for a price. Born in 1965, Maclaren is one of the oldest and respected brands in the stroller land. Celebs like Michelle Williams, Dave Grohl, and Melania Trump all chose the British-based buggies to tote their loved ones. While some opt for the less-expensive versions available at Toys 'R' Us, others pay a pretty penny for labeled versions.

Melania Trump pushes Baron in a pimped-out leather Maclaren ($3,800) and Geri Halliwell gives Bluebell a ride in the posh "Life Is a Bed of Roses," especially created by fashion designer Lulu Guinness. Lacoste, Burberry, Kate Spade, and others have also added their name to the list of specialty makers. When people are easily spending $900 on competitive brands like Bugaboo and Orbit Baby, the $300 Kate Spade buggy starts to look doable.

Lulu Guinness is a quirky jewelry, handbag, shoe, linen, rug and optical designer. She's built her brand around a '50s-era, glamorous and edgy-yet-feminine style that has won fans in celebrities from Madonna to Katie Couric. The latest addition to her product range is a perfume called Cast A Spell.

The scent and packaging was inspired by Lulu’s fondness for magical, enchanting and even wicked fairy tales. The fragrance is a blend of sophisticated florals and woodland berries created from notes of frosted blackberry pulp, mulberry, red currant, iced lavender, lilac petals, davana, black velvet fig, amber, bourbon and patchouli.

The bottle—a dramatic contrast of black, white and silver—is meant to resemble a crystal ball surrounded by a thorn and leaf wreath. The collection consists of three eau de parfum sprays: 3.4 ounces ($78), 1.7 ounces ($58), and one ounce ($38). Additionally, there are Magic Dust bath crystals ($32) and a body lotion ($42). It can be found online and in the Lulu's London, New York and Tokyo boutiques.

By now, we've all had the opportunity to admire girly accessories designer Lulu Guinness's delectable creations. And now we can sprinkle her charm all over limbs with the launch of Lulu's Mainline Jewelry Collection. This glamour girly collection includes ball and chain links and earrings that spell the designers most identifiable aphorism "Glamour Girl." Her sought after lipstick, mirror and lips icon hang from long bauble link chains giving the collection an edgy modern feel. The pieces come in either white bronze or 14-carat gold and I find the bracelets, earrings and necklaces to be perfect for layering. Prices range from $65 - $200.

British handbag designer Lulu Guinness is having a massive sale on her lovely Spring/Summer styles, her Holiday Resort collection and on the Classics. No matter your taste, be sure to have a peek at what's in store! The Spring/Summer collection will appeal to gals who like vibrant and fun bags. I personally like this St. Tropez Gold Dots Large Dolly, on sale for $186 (originally $266). It's cute, has a unique shape and is named after the ultimate jetsetter playground: St. Tropez!

Roses aren't the only flower in the spotlight this season. Pretty much every other flower in the field is blooming. A sprinkling of an uber femme floral is a surefire way to feel feminine and pretty. To avoid looking too goody goody I would wear these offerings with some sassy patent leather and dark denim; or if you are a goody goody (work it girl!) complement these with white and bubblegum pink lip gloss. Whichever way you floral, don't forget to stop and smell the flowers.

Longtime favorite of mine since I lived in London in 2001, Lulu is every girlie girl's dream.
