This year, we saw celebs, major designers, and favorite labels hitting department stores and chains in the form of fashionable collaborations. Among the standouts of 2010, Madonna brought her Material Girl to Macy's, Mulberry's classic handbags headed to Target, and Alexa Chung created a signature style line for Madewell. But that was hardly the end of it; closing out the year, Valentino brought its femme confections to Gap, and Lanvin for H&M took the fashion world by storm. Each crush-worthy collab delivered new looks to love, but it's time to cast your vote for the one that made you go gaga — what's the best fashion collaboration of the year?

Taylor Momsen Dishes on Madonna, Music, and Personal Style
To no one's surprise, Gossip Girl's rebel child, Taylor Momsen, was revealed as the face of Madonna's Material Girl collection, bowing Aug. 3 at Macy's. So just how was she chosen by Madonna to be the face of the brand? "I was ecstatic to be asked. It's such an honor. It's Madonna. I was kind of shocked. She's amazing. The role entails doing the launch of the line on Aug. 3 at Herald Square. And I'll be tweeting and talking about the line. We did a photo shoot for the first pieces of the collection. It's a really great line. It's really cool," said Momsen.
Taylor on being a fan of Madonna's music and fashion.
All her songs are so great. They’re so well crafted and really perfect, pure, pop genius. I'm a big fan of "Papa Don't Preach." I love that song. But really all of it is fantastic. She was the one who did it all first. She gave people like me an avenue to do what I'm doing. She was the one who started all the controversy to begin with. I'm a big fan of all kinds of vintage looks and altering them and making them modern. I don't know if I copy anything directly, but I like to mix and match and play around a lot.

Taylor Momsen Revealed as Madonna's "Material Girl"
We're thrilled to present our favorite InStyle story here on Fab!
After much speculation, it has been confirmed that Taylor Momsen is the face of Madonna and daughter Lourdes’s fashion line, Material Girl. The collection, which we first showed you sketches of last month, mixes fierce and feminine elements, like studded leather and floral prints—totally on par with Momsen’s rocker style.

Can You Guess the Mystery Material Girl?
OK, we're kind of excited about Madonna's Material Girl collection for Macy's. The collection, which has been hyped up with the same force as an upcoming Madonna album, debuts August 3, and we can't help but to surrender. With just a little over a month to the collection debut, Madonna wants us to guess the mystery Material Girl modeling her line. We think it's either Taylor Momsen — who can deny those signature platinum blond locks? — or hot off the press Dree Hemingway. Who do you think it is?

Sneak Peek! Madonna's Material Girl Sketches Revealed
Back in February, it was announced that Madonna was adding designer to her resume. Then she dished her inspiration, daughter Lourdes, and now the first sketches are out. What do you think? It's quite cutesy and colorful, but keep in mind that the target audience is girls aged 13 to 25. I can totally see Lourdes rocking all of these with her Converse sneakers. It's rather '80s, mixed in with modern touches. The Material Girl collection, retailing from $12 to $40, will hit Macy's exclusively in August.

FABTV: Madonna "Material Girl"
All this talk of Madonna and rhinestones at Balenciaga has me admitting that I too am a material girl. I'm a nostalgia buff and prefer the old Madonna to the new, but I love Madge either way. Also, Lindsay Lohan's take on Marilyn Monroe's famous Bert Stern photo shoot reminded me of this fabulous vid. Madonna has shown us many fantasy worlds of hers, but what gal wouldn't want men ogling and offering them rhinestones diamonds left and right? Further, love seeing the real Madonna in her old-school style that started it all.
