Kate's style is always sultry chic. Last night at Chopard's 150th anniversary party in NYC, the actress showed her support (and love) of jewels by wearing Chopard’s chalcedony, sapphire, diamond, and iolite chandelier earrings and a multicolor pearl and diamond ring. She also threw a multicolor pearl necklace over a drapey smokey lavender silk dress. Light gray super platform pumps heighten her. Dazzling.

Put on your pearls girls! I know the majority of you prefer diamonds but pearls — long and lean ones — are experiencing a rebirth. My motto is anything that SJP wears, grants trend status; however, I don't think pearls can be considered trendy. They are classic! From Coco herself, to the sidewalks of Hollywood on Ashlee Simpson to the woman who embodies Carrie Bradshaw, a long strand of pearls, or two, or three, is new again.
She brought you into this world. She holds your hand through thick and thin. She takes you shopping. And, she sits for your dog, her grandpup, when given the shortest notice. Maybe not all of the above but we all have our special momma bear moments. If there is anyone to splurge on come the holidays, this is the special person.
