Look of the Day: Striped and Spotted

I was totally excited by this mixed-up look from Fab reader Miss Ife.

I was totally excited by this mixed-up look from Fab reader Miss Ife. She took a sartorial risk by pairing two very different patterns together, and it definitely paid off! She tied a leopard-print blouse over a black-and-white striped maxidress, then layered a sharp black blazer on top. Her black round-toe pumps and pretty red lipstick pull the whole look together perfectly.

Congrats Miss Ife!

Look of the Day: Mix Appeal

When it comes to mixing patterns, it sure seems like Fab reader impetuous style is a pro.

When it comes to mixing patterns, it sure seems like Fab reader impetuous style is a pro. She went all out with her fun look, pairing a signature striped Missoni skirt with a slouchy, cropped polka-dot sweater, then adding nude slingback heels and a chic pearl necklace from Lanvin for H&M. It's a perfect example of how fresh different patterns can look together — great look!

Congrats to impetuous style!

What Is Style? Words of Sartorial Wisdom

OnSugar blogger Terrablack shares her thoughts on what style means, particularly right now, in the middle of a January Winter.

OnSugar blogger Terrablack shares her thoughts on what style means, particularly right now, in the middle of a January Winter. We dig prints, heels, and Winter white, so we're happy to present Terrablack's current take on the definition of style.

Layering on as many prints as I deem proper to complete my look; keeping my favorite summer shoes out for Fall and Winter-wear and pairing them with tights; and, not caring that it's only January when I decide to rock winter staples in head to toe white.
