Hear ye, hear ye: excellent casting news! In last night's speech at the MTV Movie Awards, Sandra Bullock mentioned that she wants to get back to normal — and I can't imagine a better start than to reunite with a familiar face. It's just been announced that the actress will once again team up with Ryan Reynolds for the action comedy Most Wanted. The story will follow Bullock as a woman on the run with Reynolds as the agent assigned to her.
These two had great comedic chemistry in The Proposal, and I couldn't be happier to watch them verbally spar once more. And if things get steamy or, um, butt-naked again, at least now we know Scarlett is OK with it.
I'll admit it, by the time January rolls around, I'm pretty shopped out. Plus, all those holiday presents keep me fulfilled for a while. But that doesn't mean I can't have crushes. In fact, I have eight, one of them being this Ranjana Khan Lapis Bead Bib Necklace ($1,090). Isn't it breathtaking? I know the holidays are behind us, but I'd like to continue decking out my neck. My other lusts include Moto leggings, a spear ring, snazzy gray suede shoes, and a bright coat.
These rad, red Balmain suede booties are helping me battle my post-Halloween depression. Thank goodness for Balmain, right? The rest of my November picks are either cozy or cozy chic; it's finally time to stow my sandals and lightweight jackets and reunite with my bodacious boots and tights. I admit: I missed them. Furry hats, cool jewels, and Sienna Miller-inspired moccasin boots also made the want list.
When October rolls around there is one thing on my mind: Halloween. That's right people, Fab's favorite holiday. We're gearing up our costume idea series, A Fabby Halloween, but in the meantime, here are some non-festive items I am lusting over. Cat prints are abundant, red is the choice color, and accessories are muy importante. Happy Halloween, I mean, October!
You know Fab's in a Fall state of mind when my most wanted go from neon and skin-baring to jewel-toned and cozy. Though I will be holding off on wearing tights for as long as possible, I already have my sights set on some slouchy boots, amazing bags, festive jewelry, and sexy separates. Whether you're going back to cool or back to the grind, do so in fabulous style.
As you know, I am an optimist. Let's not dwell on August being Summer's last month. Instead, let's revel in it. My month is already packed with concerts, house parties, pool dates, weekend adventures, and active fun. I have begun thinking about my Fall wardrobe, therefore transitional pieces are top of mind. This geo print Mara Hoffman dress is the perfect perky purchase — I would totally wear it with tights and layers come Fall. It's all about optimism 'round here party people.
It's months like these I wish I were Evie (Out of This World, hello) and could freeze time. July, fun in the sun, barbecues, and Summer lovin' are all upon us. I'm actually a bit shopped out; time to give my wallet a break and enjoy the simple life. The month kicks off with the celebratory, firework-ignited holiday of the 4th of July — coincidence my July musts are pink, blue, and white? Bring on the good times . . .
