Q8 worked a Fab neutral palette into her Spring wardrobe. The soft colors complement her beautiful skin tone and I love how she cleverly cinched in her voluminous shirt with a big and bold belt.

I agree; neutrals are great for summer - they keep you cool by not absorbing heat because they're light-colored, and they go with pretty much anything because they're...well...neutral! My favorite way to play with neutrals is to accessorize with a bright-colored bag or shoe.

The red carpet had a splash of color last night, but most of the leading ladies chose to play it safe with neutral toned gowns and fresh, classic makeup. I love Cate Blanchett's ode to old Hollywood in her body hugging Armani Prive gown and Sandra Oh sure was a sight to see in her flirtatious feminine gown. While neutral tones aren't right for everyone, these women wore them well.
